On Friday the pupils visited their Home rooms for sports:
Bellsland – Blue with Mrs. L. Thom, Mrs. S. Morrison and Mrs. E. Smets
Caprington – Green with Mrs. M. Milligan, Mrs. F. Drennan, Mrs. C. McKenna and Mrs. F. McCallum.
Glencairn – Red with Mrs. A. Macmillan, Mr. S. Nutt and Miss. A. Davers.
Kaimshill – Yellow with Mrs. V. Ross, Miss. G. Boyd and Mrs. A. Kirkwood.
The pupils delivered their “Vote for me as House Captain!” speeches for the pupils in primaries 3 – 7 to decide who would be good to lead their team to victory in 2012.
The final votes were counted and:

Vice Captains: Jack Mains and Alex McCartney
Caprington Captains: Keir Duncan and Lucy Nisbet
Vice Captains: Jack Warnock and Reece Williamson
Glencairn Captains: Taylor Johnston and Laurie Graham
Vice Captains: Adam Muirhead and Lauren Thomson
Kaimshill Captains: Deri Thomson and Bobbi Todd
Vice Captains: Ben Carpenter and Alannah Sharpe
The pupils will be given their official badges and announcement at Assembly in the coming weeks. They will also be attending Show Racism the Red Card event for young people being held at Kilmarnock F.C. with ex professional players and current players from the club. They will be involved in a full day of workshops, question and answer sessions and a raffle all focusing on anti racism/ anti sectarianism/ equality and respect.
