In Kirkstyle Primary School we aim to offer an education of the highest quality through effective teaching and learning by:

  • helping each child to be happy, confident and able to develop his/her full potential
  • respecting every pupil as equal but individual, identifying and resolving problems by developing good relationships with children and their parents
  • promoting learning by giving pupils a balanced educational experience through a range of teaching methods and a broad curriculum
  • fostering self-esteem and respect for others, while encouraging decision-making in preparation for each pupil taking his/her place in society
