• Archaology Scotland 4

  Session 4 began with a timeline from the Stone Age up to the present day. As this time line was to scale it helped us to realise that although we think of the Romans and the Egyptians as ancient civilisations they are more recent than we think in the whole scheme of things. In this session, we cleaned up all the evidence found in our dig. Here’s what we found! Now it was back to the stem room to categorise and log our findings.

• Sticky Fingers Easter Club

  The Sticky Fingers Easter Club at the Boswell Centre, Well Road, Auchinleck will run on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of both weeks of the school Easter holidays. Registration starts at 9.45am each morning and children should be picked up by a responsible adult at 12.30pm each day. On arrival, please park in either the front car park at the Boswell Centre or the car park at the Indoor Bowling Club across the road. Please accompany your child into the foyer of the Boswell Centre, where registration will take place and attendees will receive their name labels. Thanks to funding

• ECC Learning Week Commencing 16/03/26-20/03/26

  I n d o o r s – This week in zone one we extended our road safety learning a little further by role playing different scenarios. We used small world objects to recreate a village scene and recognised when it was safe or unsafe for our characters to cross. We used red and green man signals to recognise this. Furthermore, this extended in a small group where we recreated the scene on a larger scale, using our handmade traffic lights and the red/green man.
