Red Squirrel Group
Jo from the Red Squirrel Group joined us today to talk to the children about how we can encourage red squirrels and other wildlife into our area. The boys and girls learned about loss of habitat and how humans can take positive action to support biodiversity in our towns and woodland areas.
Jo will work with the children to put up squirrel and bird boxes alongside making a sensory garden, a pumpkin patch and more!
This fits perfectly with our learning for sustainability and Eco Schools work.
