P6 & P7 Pedal Ahead with Bikeability! 🚲
Our Primary 6 and 7 pupils have been taking part in Bikeability, a fantastic programme designed to help them develop essential cycling skills and road safety awareness. Over the past two sessions, they have been getting to grips with the basics, starting with bike checks to ensure their bikes are safe and ready to ride. They then moved on to practising their cycling skills around the playground, focusing on balance, control, and key manoeuvres.
The pupils have shown great enthusiasm so far, and it’s been brilliant to see their confidence growing with each session! Over the next few weeks, they will continue honing their skills in the playground before progressing out onto the roads to put their learning into practice in real-life situations.
A huge well done to all the children for their focus and determination—we’re looking forward to seeing them develop even more as safe and responsible cyclists! 🚴♂️✨
