First After-School Netball Club a Great Success!
This week, we kicked off our first after-school netball club for Primary 5, 6, and 7 pupils, and what a fantastic start it was! The session was run by Donna Westbrook, who brought enthusiasm and experience to help our young athletes develop their skills.
We had a wonderful turnout, with lots of pupils keen to get involved and give netball a try. It was inspiring to see so many children enjoying themselves, learning new skills, and improving their teamwork. During the session, pupils practiced different types of passes, including chest passes, shoulder passes, and bounce passes. They also got the chance to work on their shooting technique—an essential part of the game!
We are especially proud of Ry, who was awarded Player of the Week for demonstrating excellent footwork and great teamwork throughout the session. Well done, Ry! Every single pupil played brilliantly, showing determination and support for one another.
A huge thank you to Donna Westbrook for leading such an engaging session. We’re all looking forward to the next one, where we’ll continue to build on what we’ve learned and have even more fun.
Here are some photos from the session—see if you can spot your star player in action!
Well done, everyone! Keep up the great work!
