The Instrumental Music Service have organised a taster session to promote the benefits of instrumental tuition to children and young people, along with their parents and carers. This event will take place in Dumfries Academy on Tuesday 4th June 2019 from 5.30 – 6.30pm. Everyone will get a chance to hear one of the region’s bands, meet instructors and try the instruments.

Sports Day has been and gone for another year and we were very fortunate that the weather was kind to us.  The potted sports were enjoyed by all and it was lovely to see so many family members attending our family picnic/ lunch.   The races went smoothly with all our children giving their best efforts to win house points for their team.  Congratulations to all our pupils for participating with such enthusiasm and a special well done to Burns who were the eventual winners.
