We went outside to create pictures of different creatures. We had to use materials which we found outside. We created creatures such as snakes, butterflies and snails! We used our creativity, critical thinking and adapting skills. We thought it was really fun.
A very busy afternoon on Tuesday where we invited parents and carers in to Meet their Child’s new teacher. Lots of fantastic activities related to Meta Skills as well as the launch of our new Positive Relationship Policy.
Primary 1 have settled well into the routines of Heathhall school.

We had lots of visitors in our classroom on Tuesday 17th September. Adults and pupils engaged with the life and ethos of the school.
In PE we have been working really hard with Mr Sharp.
Rocco said, “I as a referee during PE because I have broken my arm. Mr Hannay asked me to be the official photographer for PE too”.
Abi said, “I enjoyed the tig we played with Mr Sharp”.
Harvey said, “PE is fun. We did four square with Mr Sharp. Four square is where you have to hit the ball around four squares. I enjoyed this because I like to win”.

P4S have been learning about Our Bodies. We have been writing reports about the skeleton, we have labelled the skeleton and created collages of skeletons. We have also learned the names and functions of the major organs in the body and have began using the internet to research facts about an organ of our choice.
