Dumfries and Galloway Regional Youth Choir – Summer Term 2022
Dumfries and Galloway Regional Youth Choir is back!! After the long period of disruption caused by Covid we are rebuilding this superb group and are looking for new members. The Choir has been going now for nearly 20 years and is open to anyone from current S2 (rising S3) to S6 who enjoys singing.
The music that we sing covers a wide selection of musical styles, ranging from Musical Theatre, Pop, Classical and Jazz, as well as music from Scotland and further afield in the world. You do not have to audition – everyone is welcome and it is absolutely free.
Rehearsals will take place in Minerva Hall, Dumfries Academy on Sundays 29th May and 12thJune, with a free concert that day at 6pm at St. John’s Church, Lovers’ Walk, Dumfries.
We have an active twinning link with the Choir of the Humboldt Gymnasium, Germany and regularly have residential rehearsals and events in both the UK and abroad.
