Shadows π₯
Dinosaurs π¦
We have been learning about dinosaurs and we were wondering how we know so much about them although they are extinct. We have been researching and discovered we know so much about them because of fossils. Palaeontologists are scientists who study fossilsΒ and they have found fossils everywhere. We have made some of our own. We are going to bury them into the sand pit next week and become Palaeontologists. We have also been drawing some of the dinosaurs and created a super display for the classroom.
Den Building! π
We have been making mini dens out in the playground, we had to use what we could find on the ground.Β Working from the ground up, the children could build their own ideas from scratch, so they needed to be creative with the materials they use. We made a dinosaur den and thought about the different houses they may live in. We found that some made nests, and some lived in the forest. We all had a mini dinosaur to make a den for.
