Congratulations to the children at St Andrew’s and St Teresa’s who celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation last night. It was lovely to watch the children continue on the next step of their Sacramental journey.

Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day. Our theme was the colours of the rainbow and children (and teachers) were invited to come in dressed as a colour of the rainbow and bring in a related book. This meant we had a very colourful day and even managed to get a whole school rainbow photo in the hall.
The library is currently getting a revamp and Mrs Kerr had the brilliant idea of getting each child to create their own ‘book’ from cereal boxes. I am sure you will agree the results look amazing!
We also had class visits from the Scottish Book Trust Co-ordinator and she will be visiting other classes over the next few weeks.
