The children of St Nicholas House were the overall winners of this year’s House points. On Monday they got an extra break and snack treat to mark their super achievement.

 

These Primary 3 children wanted to share the Animal Farm they created during soft start today.

The penultimate week of Running Club saw us test our speed with some fun relays.  Look at the super concentration on our faces!

 

Once all the points from our 3 ‘Bubble’ Sports Days were added together it was St Nicholas who were announced as overall champions.  Congratulations to St Nicholas and thank you to all the children as their sportsmanship shone through!

A walk around the school on Wednesday afternoon saw P2 hard at work creating fantastic banners for sports . The banners were in their House colours and as you can see they looked super at St Joseph’s on the big day!

Primary 2 have been hard at work planting a great variety of fruit and vegetables in their garden area this term. On Tuesday it was time to harvest some of their school grown lettuce .
The children chose the largest leaves and used these to create deliciously healthy wraps.

Another week of Running Club saw us heading down to the Dock Park and heading over the Millennium Bridge. It was then time for a stretch before heading back to school – and all before the school bell rang!

Lots of fun in the sun was had yesterday when Primary 6 and 7 enjoyed a variety of races and potted sports.  It was lovely to hear the children encouraging each other.

Primary 3 had a great time in the woodland area on Friday . Imaginative play and fun were the order of the day!
