The Outdoor Education team is made up of qualified instructors.
Our aims are to:
- Teach a wide variety of adventure activities and environmental education
- Run Coach Education courses
- Maintain a register of accredited leaders
- Run courses leading to National Qualifications.
- Ensure the safety of pupils whilst undertaking activities of an adventurous nature
- Overseeing the use of outside providers of adventurous activities for Dumfries and Galloway Council
- Promote, up-date and advise on the Departments Guidelines for Off-Site Safety
- Offers External technical adviser services.
