Eco Committee

Our School has recently been assessed and we are delighted to have maintained ‘Green Flag Status’ for the third time.  First awarded a Green Flag in 2008, the pupils and staff have worked hard to meet the requirements continually for the past 5 years.

To help us achieve this we have a dedicated Eco-Committee which includes pupils, staff, parents and members of the wider school community.  It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure our school and community is as eco-friendly as possible and to help people understand our impact on the wider world.

Check out the ‘Photo Album’ page for images of what we’ve been achieving.

To hold an Green Flag we must demonstrate we are committed to improving the world we live in by looking after it.  We have used this rap as a helpful way of remembering it.  Eco Code Rap For our younger pupils, we have a cartoon version that one of our senior pupils drew based on the rap.

Another vital part of being an Eco-School is to have a Litter Policy.  This is ours which is reviewed annually.
