P.E

Every Friday morning we do P.E with Mrs Graham.  Today we did hurdles and working as a team. We went into groups of four, the yellow team,  the blue team, the green team and the red team. In the teams there was a leader and the rest of the group followed the leader, everyone got to have a shout at being the leader. We ran over the hurdles in our team, also we had to go under the canes that are sitting on top of cones. We used the hills the tunnels and the grass. My team worked very well together. The weather was very good and alot of us worked hard. Leah say she felt very energentic after we did P.E, also she said that she never gave up. I felt very fit and i was quiet tired too. Everyone tryed there hardest and worked together as a team.

P.E.

On Friday the 7th of June P5-7 did P.E. out side on our new grass. Mrs Graham (our P.E. teacher) set up an obstacle course. We were put into groups and had to run round in our groups in a rectangular shape. Then the leader of the group had to take the rest of the group round the course but also had to make our own course up that involved the hills and the tunnels. After we had done P.E. Mrs Graham brought us inside and we hade to do two stars and a wish.

P.E

Every Friday we have P.E with Mrs Graham. For the past few weeks we have been working with the hurdles and working as a team.Today we were in teams and we used cones, poles and the hills and the tunnels we have in our play ground. Before we did lots of running and team work activties. It was very energentic and made us fell fit said Caitlin. Its been great weather that we have done the past 3 weeks of P.E outside!!! Last week we done whole school P.E which was a stuggle  but I proved that I can be a good team leader. We were put in 4 diffrent groups today and we had to work on following each othera dn going over the diffrent hightes of hurdles and crawling under the poles. It was great fun and I love working with the Hurdles!!!

Girls Aloud

The p7 girls went to an activity every Wednesday, called Girls aloud, it was at Max High. Every week we did something new for 5 weeks, on the first week it was football but we did not go because two people where off. The second week we went to cricket, we got told to get into groups of four to five, and we play a running/catching game. Then we had a game of cricket. The third week we did baton twirling, we first did some hand exercises, then we stared of with some easy spins (most of us knew what to do because we had lesson at school). On the fourth week we did tag rugby, first we played a tag game with the rugby’s and then we had a game of tag rugby. On the fifth week we did not go because we had our Kenyan visitors.

Sensory Organs

There are five different sensory organs, the tongue for taste, the ears for hearing, and the skin for touch, the nose for smell and the eyes for vision. Ben and I chose the tongue, which is a very interesting to thing to find out about.

One of the facts that Ben found out was that we use our tongues to digest food and to help us speak.

My Personal Body Project

Since Monday 29th  January this year we have been set a personal body project to find out about 5 major internal organs. The 5 that I chose was the brain, small intestine, kidneys, stomach and the lungs. We had to find the size, function, purpose, colour, location and any relating health problems. The one that I like most was the finding out about the brain. You will find a photo above this post.

Reading

The book I am reading is called Bitter Chocolate. It’s a good book for older children if your interested in finding out more about the world and all the bad  things that go on. I like this book and I would recommend this book to other children. So far am on chapter 31 and still interested.
