The snow has fallen at Holywood school!!!! Everyone has been raging to get out of the doors at break times, we have been rampaging down the hills. So now there is a green patch on the hills because we have been speeding down the hill so many times.
I’ am sure everyone has enjoyed going down the hills, but I’m sure people were sad that they had to come to school today.

Here a few countries in Africa: Kenya,Cameroon,Nigeria,South Africa
Nigerins eat Garri which is dry rice.
They also eat Plantain which is like a banana.
In Cammeroon they eat yams.
And also the children chop down the trees for fire wood.
In kenya here are some of the animals: elephents and lions.
The Nigerian national colour is green.
The Kenyan flag as red, black,white and green.
Today we have been making crazy golf holes for the gala day. And we have also been making cards for the craft stall. The gala day is on Saturday the 6th of September. Even an Inflatable obstacle course!!!

On Thursday 12th. of June at one o’clock we set up for our sports day.Parents and cousins and brothers , sisters,grandparents. Sat in the sunshine watching the sack race, egg and spoon,house obstacle relay,tig relay coash and horses and distnsance run.Mrs. Graham our P.E. teacher worked very hard with Miss Dale. to get ready and set upfor everybody to have a good day. Sports day was yesterday, Thursday The 12th of June. We had lots of fun, Lots of parents showed up to take part in events like the Welly throw,Beat the goaly by Axel, the show jumping by Olivia and the ping pong ball target practise and lastly the beanbag skittle knockdown.
The whole school worked really hard to set it up
And a special thanks to Mrs Graham because its her last sports day at Holywood because she is sadly retiring after the summer holiday.

We are learning about space and the solar system. we started this mini topic last Tuesday. The planet I chose was satarn. I am now on to my poster and we also need to do a planet model (which I’ve done)

The personal project this month was about What we have been reading in reading box, Im doing it about Motocross and the Motocross callender.
P5-7 is doing a Solar System Personal Project. Miss Baxter gave us planets I got Jupiter, we had to make models and posters about you’re planet.We have got till Tuesday to do it.
Football club is were we practise football. It’s at 3 o ‘clock to 4 o ‘ clock first we learn some skills) then our coach gets our teams ready) we also play a few football games.
