For IDL we are learning about Spain.  Spain is a warm country in Europe.  The capital city is Madrid.  There are a lot of sandy beaches.

We have drawn a large map of the country and added landmarks.  I chose Barcelona and drew a picture of a large arched gateway in the city.

Arc de Triomf

animation club

Hello its Rory and i am gonna be talking about my time at animation club.

We started off by learning about the different types of animation and we got got told that we were doing flip books. A flip book is a book were you flip it and it makes an animation it is a very long process. So i started making one and i failed and failed and failed so i gave up and just done a stick-man once i was done i just went on the computers to make and animation then Sevi told us how good our animations are.. my one was second last 👍.

so i found the first day of animation club pretty boring because we didn’t have much to do.

Also on the weekend i went out with Carson and Jullien on are bikes.. so that OK 👍

That is all bye

I joined the scouts!

Hello, it’s Jullien, and I am going to talk about the scouts because I just joined a new group here in Dumfries. I was a scout before in the Netherlands for 5 years. Two weeks ago, on Thursday, I went to the scouts in Dumfries just to see if I liked it. There was a guy called Jacob, and he is very nice to me! The first time I went there, we played hockey and a game where you have to throw bean bags in a target. This week, we did a game with a ball, and then we did a quiz were all the answer had a colour, Here is a example “what is your favourite chocolate? = Black magic”Boy Scout Logo Image | Free download on ClipArtMag

That’s all!

Jullien.

Islam is a religion that Muslims believe in. There are 5 pillars of I`slam there are called Salah, Zakat, Sawm, and Hajj.  Muslims pray in a place called a mosque. Huge Thank you!

Thank you to the Event Group (a Holywood Business Group) for planning, organising and running the Football Tournament.

Two thirds of the school were on the pitch taking part – with pupils from P1  to P7 making up the teams. Players were great sports on and off the pitch making the event a pleasure to watch.

Some hardy parents and grandparents endured the cold and came to cheer on their team – thank you for your support!

Thank you to Abigail’s dad for refereeing the tournament. I can report that no yellow or red cards were issued!

Well done once again to all members of the Events Group – you did a great job. We are already looking forward to your next event… I wonder what it will be?!?
