Holywood Hullabaloo

Hello its Owen we just had our sports day recently and I’m going to tell you about all the races. Our sports day was on the 17th June.

The first race was P7’s sprint race and we got ready to start and then we had a false start. When we finished the second race since we had to restart I came second behind Brody and Harry came third. It wasn’t a long spring. 

Next it was the skipping race I think Miller fell behind me but I  turned out to be quite good at skipping and came first and  Brody was second I’m not sure who came third. 

Then we did egg and spoon race and I don’t know where I came but I was like last. The first time I picked up the egg and put it on my spoon because I forgot the rules.

After that we did the sack race we had to lye on our sack to start. I wasn’t very good at it but Harry Brody Tasnim where in front of me. I made a come back and passed Harry and Tasnim and I finished second.

Monkey crawl was next me and Daniel had a false start but the race kept going we managed to catch up and it was between me Daniel and Liam. We all threw our self’s across the finish and Liam came first I came second and Daniel cam third.

Horse and carriage we had to do it with our siblings so I was with Beth we came second. 

Hello its Thomas here today I will be talking about week in the woods.

What we done in week in the woods. We done Sardeens. We also cooked smores. We also cooked qusedeeas We also had Mr freezes and drinks. The in the smores we had little bites of chocolate. We also made dens and Noah, Lews, Tom and I had to move dens 4 times. In week in the woods we also made little dens fore dinosaurs. At the end of the day we normally had free time. We also done wittling we all wittled frog stiks we could only do a  at a cuple time cause it was only Mrs Madam.

On Friday the 19TH it was gala day. Gala Day is when all the p2-7 have a stall  and my stall was nails and hair. It was  a lot of fun. My stall made £34 and 38p. There were 15 stalls. My favourite stalls were cake stall , tie-dye and tombola.

on friday the 19th we had gALA day.gala day is where you have different stalls and try earn money. the whole school earned £550. Personally, i think we done very well.

my group was doing face painting, furry friends and fake tattoos. we made about £90. FURRY FRIENDS WERE £1, face painting was £3 and fake tattoos were 50p.

Hello Grace and Miller here last week the P7,s went to our high schools.Miller and I went to Wallace hall academy. We did our S1 time table, both of our favourite classes were home.ech. in home.ech we made scones with our teacher miss Toefieild.

Hi this is Carlay i’m gonna talk about sports day.

7. horse and jokey race
8. sibling race
9. parent race .

It was a really hot day but we got ice lollies after I got a strawberry flavour! I got first place in the egg and spoon race! We got to have a picnic lunch with our parents as well. There was also a table tennis section. My mum came to watch me she was really proud of me.

In my maths assessment I got 100% I feel Good.

 

 

Hi  it me Aliyah and Nola on the blog. We will be talking about renewable energy. Yesterday we made a small windmill. I will tell you how to make them. First get a  square and get a ruler get the ruler and put the ruler against the paper and  draw a line corner to corner and do it 4 times. Get a corner and glue glue stick the sharp bit of the paper in the middle of the paper. We tested them outside in the playground and they worked.

IDL

In IDL we are learning about  renewable energy.(It is so much fun and exciting)

Teas are some renewable energy’s

•  Hydro power

• wind power

• soler power

• Geo thermal

We made paper wind mills with paper, straws, split pins, scissors,a ruler and glue. This is two of them.

  We tested them in the play ground

we found out that at the top of the hill they blew backwards but in the middle of the hills they worked.
