Olly- We where doing a gala day we had stall. My stall was skittles and guess the sweets in the jar. The person the at win the sweets was Talia’s Granny. We had skittles to play you would pay £1 for 2 shots and £2 for 5 shots.

Miller-My stall  was the  toy shop . We had different prizes like a small toys for £1 a large toy for £5 and lego set for £6.30.

Owen and Harry here!                                                                                                                           Today we are  going to be talking about our learning. Last week on Friday it was gala day and that is when we sell a lot of things and me and Harry liked it. Harry’s stall aka my stall was skittles and guess how many sweets in the jar and the winner of the guess how many sweets in the jar Talia’s relative we had different prizes the prizes for the skittles were maoams and brain lickers. Owens stall was the toy shop and we also did a guess how many toys in the jar and nobody and we also did a beanbag challenge and if you got it through a hole you would hit me in the face with a beanbag.

this Monday we practised for sports day so we did hurdling skipping race and  running race and did javelin throwing and we did egg and spoon race.

 

Last Friday,  Holywood school The 7^th of June Gala Day. In the playground the pupils run different stalls to raise money for the school.

First, we had to setup. we brought tables out my stall was face painting.

Once,we were ready and all the paints were laid out,we collected float from Miss Dale a float is change to start the stall off.

Next,it was time to start face painting my stall was very successful. I was mostly at the tombola I won alot of gifts.

It fun I loved it.was really.

we have been learning about the ocean 🌊and different layer’s of the ocean and the animal’s in the different layers of the ocean. The different layers of the ocean are Sunlight zone, Twilight zone, Midnight zone, The abyss and The trench that is all of the layers of the ocean Claudia is in the The abyss and Daisie is in Twilight zone. Some animals in twilight zone are jellyfish, starfish and urchin and in the abyss the animals are a Jellyfish, Squid and a goblin shark and that is all of the abyss animal’s .

You need:

apple

pears

plums

strawberries

oranges

Wash all the fruits

Peel the oranges

Cut up all the fruit and put in a bowl

Mix well

 

 

 

Add a sprinkle of lemon juice to the fruit. And there you have it, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Fruit Salad!

Gala day is where we sell products or do games.

The reason we do gala day is to raise money for the school.

 

• My gala day stall was skittles and guess how many sweets in the jar.
• We had maoams and brain lickers for the prizes at the skittles.
• Our stall made roughly £50 from the skittles and the guess how many sweets in the jar but the skittles made the most at our stall.

 

 

I enjoyed gala day it was fun to play at my stall and other stalls.

 

Gala Day was on Friday 7^th of June. Holywood do it to for are school. My stall was the wild toy shop. We had to put forms through people’s letter boxes so people would know it was on so if they wanted to come. We got two tables out for are stall but we filled the two tables so we got a tarp out to put the rest on. At Gala we had to give people change if they paid to much like a real shop. I loved Gala Day and I love the stuff I won and bought. IT WAS SO FUN!!!

“Hello today Anneliese and Nia are going to writ to you about are experience at the Scottish Opera.

Me and Anneliese where villagers we happy to be villagers because they are multitasks such as chefs, farmers , Defenders of the earth . We had our dress rehearsal , dance rehearsal and sinning rehearsal. We walked from the school to the Dumfries . After we had our lunch with some of the other schools we went to a park that was across the road from the bridge.
