This is our Whole school play we are doing the wizard of oz.When i was at my old school with mrs dale we did the wizard of oz and i was the flying monkey.It was good fun i hope that this year its going to be good.Iam going to be a tuff kid and a army sargent it will be good mrs dale is houstin the wizard of oz.

We are doing a school show called the wizard of oz the charaters are lion,scarcrow, tin man, dorthy,toto it is about a house that flies away into a land called oz can they get there brain, heart and nerve.

Good Bye Mrs McMichael
Mrs McMichael our only American Teacher ever in Holywood history and she is IS……………………. LEAVING 🙁 🙁 we are all very very sad. She was our math teacher Monday to thursday every week . We are all going to miss here because she is fun and i dont want here to go.
Wizard Of Oz
We are doing a play about the Wizard Of Oz and we can’t wait. We are doing three shows. We are excited because some of us have not been in a school play before. We had auditions to get a main characters and we now we have our scripts and it will be fun.

New Teacher Coming!
Recently our teachers have been interviewing some new teachers to take Mrs McMicheal place. This does not mean we are getting rid of Mrs McMicheal. When we heard we asked Miss Dale when she was leaving. If we asked her now she would say next Wednesday. We definately are going to miss her. When they were interviewing they found a techer they liked called Miss Stapelton.

Technology Challenge Club
Homework Update
We are currently finishing off the new Maths Workout. This will provide a list of games and resources which can be accessed to practice mental maths skills at home. Maths workout will be focussed around the maths bubble planner that we introduced last session and each pupil will have their own planner which means parents will know exactly what to focus on at home in order to challenge and support with maths homework.
The Big Maths Beat That quiz sheet will be introduced into the back of the book so that parents can see progress and success.
We hope you will give us plenty of feedback to let us know if these new approaches are improving the homework experience for our learners.
