We are learning french. We can count to ten in french we are practising higher numbers. we are thinking of having a french bingo night. It is fun learning french. We looked at the french dictionary.

This week I have had spelling words but I have had to put the meanings next to the word and the words were, scorn witch means to look down on, fluent able to express oneself quickkly and easily. Bedlam a great deal of noise, bedraggled dirted as if been dragged in wet or dirt.

Ukulele
The p5-7 are learning the ukulele on a friday after noon from 1.30 to 2.45pm. The teacher is from fesh rosh and her name is kate,we have been learning a tune called The Wheel of Fortune We have also been learning the cords (C and F) This week we are learning a new cord. p6 and 7 already have a ukulele but p5 dont have a uklele and they can order one.

Every Friday Kate comes and teaches us Ukulele and we have already learned 4 songs and she has only been twice my, favorite song is a Animal fair,wee can play all them on Ukulele.
Dinosaurs Rule!!
P1-4 have been learning about dinosaurs. We made a play about how dinosaurs became extinct. We made paper mache dinosaurs. We made habitats for different dinosaurs in trays using sand and dirt and twigs and stones from outside. We found facts about different dinosaurs and we even wrote stories about them. Some dinosaurs were carnivores and some were herbivores. Kye’s favourite carnivore was the spinsosaurus. Hayden’s favourite herbivore was the ankyosaurus. Ryan liked the brachiosaurus. We really enjoyed learning about dinosaurs, thanks Kye for suggesting the topic!
School Dinners Weekly
Each Wedensday the health group will take pictures of their School dinners or packed lunch and we are going to see if they are healthy and if they are not we will work on what we eat at school. We will also do a review so we can se what is are favorite.
