On the 15th to the 16th p5~7 went to Carlingwark . When we stared at Carlingwark we went over the rules then we went up a mountain.The next day we went biking when I was on my bike and I fell in the bog and Ed got me out of the bog. And I carried on with my bike . It was my first time at Carlingwark.

Skerryvore
For 6 weeks an amazing band called Skerryvore was writing songs with the big class P5-7 we split up into 2 groups and each group would perform the song that they wrote at the end of the 6 weeks. The group I was in named our self’s ”HolyInTheWoods” and the other was ”DumfriesRockers” we all performed our song yesterday Wedensday the 17th of December and Skerryvore performed some of there own.

Skerryvore at H.W.P.S.
Every Tuesday/Wednesday since 6 weeks ago, we have had Skerryvore, The Folk Rock Band, come to do workshops with p5-7 (Finishing 17/12/14). I am in a band called “Dumfries Rockers” and I sing with Lewis, Elise and Braiden. we sung a song called “All These Things” by Us feat. “Skerryvore”. I did feel nervous during performance. Carlingwark
On the 15th of December p5- 7 travelled to Carlingwark when we got there our instructor Robby showed us around the building he said it was like a maze and it was. After that we got geared up for the dreaded hill walk which took us about 5 and a half hours. Once we got to the top we got to the top of the hill we were exhausted but once we saw the view we were in WONDERLAND! Once we got back to the centre we got showered then got in clean clothes and we went out for tea at the Scottish Pantry. When we got home Myself, Charlie, Scott and Lewis went to Mrs Irvins house with Miss Dale. We got 2 DVDs call Open Season 3 and Up. When we got back from that we got into our onsies and go tucked up into our sleeping bags.

p5\7 went to carlonwark and 1st we went in the big bus then when we arrived we had a talk about rules and safety so after we had our tour we climbed screel.When we maid it to the top every one shouted yessssssss so after a long and damp day we had a beautiful shower. Then we went to have dinner we had dinner at a little café called the Scottish pantry Mark and Braiden had macaroni it was amazing then we had desert and that was tasty to.We went back to the cabin and watched to movies up and open season 3 it was so fun Braiden had a room with his friends Zak Scott jack Lewis and mark had a room with Logan Elliot Cameron Ethan John and Blair. Next morning we had a nice breakfast toast and cereal then we went mounting biking and orienteering then after all of that we went home!!
Skerryvore!!!
On every Tuesday and Wednesday Skerryvore came, only 5 came to our school Martin, Daniel, Alec, Fraser and Craig. The folk rock band have a YouTube channel called Skerryvore TV and they have two more members. On the 10th of December we named are group “Dumfries rockers”, I was singing with Elise Braidan and Aaron, On the 17th of December Skerryvore came to do a concert we did “all these things” first next it was “Holy in the woods” singing “Its Christmas time at holywood” both groups smashed it.

Carlingwark P5-7
on the 15th of December P5-7 went to Carlingwark in Castle-Dougles at the Lochside park it was fantastic we all stayed in a lodge with 7 rooms and I shared a room with Zak Lewis Braiden and Jack on the first day we all set of on a walk up Screel then after that we went to the Scottish pantrey I had Sausage and Beans it was really nice. ^The next day we all went mountain biking and orienteering they were both really good. We left around 3.30.
