Learning in Maths
Math!
On Tuesday when Mrs Schnapp was teaching us she showed us jigsawing numbers we have never seen it before. That is when you chose one thousand or one hundred .After you have chose one (like one thousand). Choose a number between o (like three hundred and forty seven). The 7 will have to make ten. The four will make 9.The 3 will make 9.
We also learnt our three, six and nine times table. We learnt them on table mountain and on a whiteboard. It was really fun, I really enjoyed my maths I.

My Writing Assessment
We had to do and an assessment and the first paragraph was a writers craft and the other paragraphs are ones that i wrote.
Long ago there lived a King who always had to have his own way. Everyone had to do everything he said. Immediately. No talk, no arguing. Well, one night this King looked out of the window and saw the silvery moon riding high in the sky and, there and then, he wanted to reach out and touch it but even he couldn’t do that. So he thought about it and thought about it. Night and day he thought bout it. And at last he worked out a way of touching the moon. Running, the King was completely oblivious of the waiter walking by. BANG! The King and the waiter had collided, the King laughing “I did it I did it” the waiter looking curious “did what sir” he said poshly. So the King explained, then they both walked on as though nothing had ever happened he was forbidden to tell, however in the cellar (staff room) the waiter was telling everyone and they were all saying nastily “it will never work stupid man it is impossible! Or is it?” A few long weeks later they had finally made the biggest ladder in the world, everyone was telling the King not to bother he would never do it! However the king paid no attention and started to plan the crash landing. “To me to you” the Waiters shouted as they placed the massive ladder agenised the enormous stone Palace. “Lunch time” shouted the huge King, can’t touch the moon on an empty stomach! Jumping from step to step the King was having so much fun, probably the most fun he’s had it years! So up he went up high up high into the night sky, until he came to a sudden halt “ what is it, what’s wrong” he shrieked “keep going” he wined but much to his disgust there was no ladder left and he was still miles off the moon, his plane hade failed it was back to the drawing board! One boring month later the King had finally come up with a new idea and it was brilliant, he was going to hire a dragon but the staff still weren’t convinced but it wasn’t up to them the King was in charge! The next day the big blue dragon finally arrived it was absolutely amazing! The King slapped on the saddle and fastened the girth and off they went up high up high into the night sky. The King all filled with glee whizzed round and round until the big blue dragon came to a sudden halt. Falling at one hundred miles per hour all because the King had not thought it through the dragon had run out of air and so had he! The staff were right again but he was sure that this one last time he would certainly touch the moon. Surprisingly the determined King had come up with an invention it was called the flying star (rocket), it could fly up high and you would still have air. It was a super silver flying machine! So up he went up high up high into the night sky. At one thousand miles per hour he zoomed round mars and the sun and all the millions of stars. Finally, he had reached the glowing moon, he put his hand down on the rough moon. He was thrilled, he was finally satisfied!

My Personal Reading Challenge
The challenge was to read five books by different authors. We did the challenge to see how fast we could read. I read Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, Friend or Foe, The fox at the Roundabout, Angles story and Dewey. My favourite book that I read for the reading challenge is Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, I think Harry is one of the best imaginative characters ever; if you like wizards then you will really like this book. The skill I gained by reading these books was to read a little faster. What I shall do next is to continue reading books to try and get even faster.
