Holywood Hullabaloo

today we done a variable experiment mine was height and light I put my cup of 20 seeds on top of a really tall book shelf that is big as me holding my hand up.in my words my prediction it will grow a little bit because it won’t get enough air.

We at HolyWood are doing an experiment all abut plants, I personally think nothing is going to happen well, I think other people don’t think so. We all have different  opinions! I am doing hot and cold and am great where for it as well and my cold place is the staff mini fridge. Cool isn’t it?

 

The whole big class made an experiment on cress. some of the class done hot cold, dark light, soil no soil…

Miss Stewart   has running  beans not very much only  5 people got some including me .

On Wednesday and Friday, Miss Stewart and Miss Dale taught us an experiment with cress. What we had to do was write up our method, what we will need and our prediction. My prediction was that in two days there would be a shoot and a couple of leaves. That’s my prediction. Here are a few of other peoples prediction. Braiden: ” there will be no change”. Josh: ” seeds will be smaller “.

We have been experimenting on cress seeds and what I have done is that I have put one of my pots in the closet and the other in the sun!!

My method:

1 I put the paper towel on the table next I placed the 20 seeds on the towel then I put the water on it then I got a tub and some soil and mixed all of it together then BOOM!!

Water: 25m a day

Sunny Spot: Soil

prediction: I think it will work but the dark one will not work.

We all did an Experiment with cress. We got to choose our Experiment and I chose light and dark. I put 20 seeds on to a paper towel and found a light space near the window to  grow my cress. Next I watered it with 25mls of water. On my second paper towel I put another 20 seeds on it. next I watered it with 25mls of water and put it in a nice dark space in the cupboard. now check them in two days and  for the results.

PREDICTION: my prediction was that the light Experiment will grow as normal and the dark Experiment will not grow because it has no light.

We have been doing experiments with Cress seeds. we had to choose 4 choices from a carroll diagram I picked fertilizer, a cold place, a light place and a paper towel. I put my paper towel in a fridge because it is cold and its light.

My Method:

Get one paper towel and put 20 seeds on it. Secondly pour 25ml of fertilizer on the seeds. Place the seeds in the fridge.

My prediction is five will grow with leafs.
