Holywood Hullabaloo

Today we had Ally out from Feis Rois to do  ukulele with p6-7 we are learning to play Sam smiths stay with me. Ally said next week we will be writing our own song and learning other pop songs. We are hoping to learn lots of songs because we have never learned pop songs before on ukulele.

This week and next week we have swimming our s teacher is could Michael he is learning us to swim.

We can swim with out a float and we can float and Georgia is scared of jumping. in we are very good at swimming.

This week P3-7 have been going to the ice bowl to learn how to swim. Our teachers are Michael, Dawn and there is one more but we don’t know her name yet. We are going on these days: Monday, Wednesday,Thursday and Friday. Dawn is the teacher that teaches me and Euan how to swim properly. We have learned how to swim on our fronts and then roll onto our backs when we need to breath. It is really fun! Euan thinks swimming is really good the teachers are good teachers and the water is just the right temperature. I think it was really fun and the teachers are really nice to us.

On the 10th of January P4-7 went swimming at the temporary DG1 pool. I am in the 2nd group and we do blowing and our swimming teacher was Don. Right now we are doing a lot of floating and swimming. We can swim on our front and on our back. Don is good at teaching us how to swim. When we do are  floating on back and front shapes like star, pencil and last but not least sausage.         I love…….  SWIMMING!!!!!!

p3-7 have been going swimming our group have been practicing shapes and floating on our back I am really excited. My swimming have improved since we started and I really want to make swimming a new hobby. I cant wait to start swimming more.

Every Friday we are going to be having Feis Rois Ally is our instructor he is very talented he can play millions of instruments and can play Sam Smith’s song  Stay With Me on the Ukulele and the Bag Pipes He is the Best Instructor Ever! He played a game with us called Musical Corners . We Hope that he can teach how to write a song.

P3-7 have been swimming everyday this week except Wednesday and Friday; our group have been working on are streamline position and catch up arms we are really enjoying swimming and we are working really hard. We cant wait till next week to learn more.

We have been making construction posters for balfour Beatty to show to other schools there is also a prize first prize is a £30 gift voucher for dalscone second prize is £20 gift voucher for dalscone and third prize is £10 pound for dalscone. Everyone has worked really hard on there posters we are sending them off today and we will find out who won next year.
