Holywood Hullabaloo

there is to much litter in the school. We have been trying to get rid of it but it have not worked. People left rubbish in the den I am refuting to clash of dens it’s a blog. it would be great if you see someone littering tell them to put it in the bin.

 

The Kenyan round house is damaged a lot most of the mud has came off. The roof is falling a part from all that wind the willow sticks have came off. It will need repaired a lot.

So if any parents could help with it  that would be great!

At Holywood school our playground is a little different from others (I think.) Because we have two epic hills that are good to sit on in the summer and have your lunch on the top. We have bolders next to our sand pit that we jump from bolder to bolder on. We also have 2 willow dens one snake like shape. We really want to get a tank or an old routmaster London bus.

At Holywood the girls and boys have new soap which is –jellybean , original soap! They both smell really nice. We have to wash our hands when we either get dirty or before lunch, also after art – when we get messy with paint.

We enjoy having new soap and new  smells.

It is very important to wash your hands because you could spread germs  to other people

in maths we are doing money and budget. we haft to do a weekly shop with £80. And a camping trip and a birthday party. it is very fun my partner is braided Zak’s partner is Dylan.

We have a new teacher and her name is  Miss Tweedie. Miss Tweedie is in school Monday and Tuesday and Miss Dale has banned her from letting us colour in a lot! We only have Miss Tweedie in the afternoon on a Tuesday as we have Miss Dale for writing. Miss Tweedie does writing with p3 and p4 and for maths Miss Tweedie is with the wee class while the big class are working with Miss Stapleton.

*I like Miss Tweedie because after green box we do colouring a lot

* But because she is new Miss Tweedie still needs to learn about our school and really challenge us a bit more.

we have been doing karate with alister Michel it was fun we have been crossing the pads and we where told to shout and screaming and shouting he has got his one club at maxhight it is called shokan Karate at 4.15pm till 5.15pm

 

Thai boxing

I train thai boxing but people in Thailand call it muay Thai Thai boxing was invented back years ago it was invented by ancient worers with sords they thought about fighting with ropes around there hands but then 2001 they started fighting with gloves but they still fight with ropes around there hands in Thailand the champion was Ramon dekers but he dyed at the age 41 with a hart attack  he went across to thai land and fight all the Thais and win so all the Thais tried to steel his teak neat but they could not. Some thai boxers fight with shin pads and some just fight with just gloves and shorts and others where a head guard and shin pads and a stoic Becker and you where anklets on your feet.

On the Thursday the 3rd of March is world book day. If you bring one pound to dress up you are helping children buy books to read in Africa. Come dress as your favourite character from your favourite book. You could win a prize you just have to make a bookmark an bring it in on world book day. If you have old book swap them in for new books and leftover book will be taken to Barnardos.

On Wednesday 24.3.16 the clash of the dens started. First no one was allowed in and some people where allowed in but some people weren’t…  So people got mad and demanded entry! S0 they got in and got over excited and pushed the walls down. And threw litter over the fence.

Now they have rebuilt the den and we have written to the neighbours to apologise and to arrange for pupils to do a clean up of all the rubbish!

Pupils at Holywood have started to nag Miss Dale about getting a school pet.

But is it a good idea?

What would be a good choice of animal?

Who would look after it at night , weekends and during the holidays?

What dangers could there be?

What are the good reasons for getting a pet? What learning would take place?

 

I want to get a parit because they are funny and they keep you company.

Miss Dale said that they would talk too much in class and get annoying.
