Fishing

We will put together a slide show of our Fishing for the Future project to let our friends at Obugi know all about it.

It is great that the school now has the computers and the camera being used for learning. We look forward to finding out more from our friends in Kenya.

There was a French girl her name was Julianne and  she came and visit our school. She left at berk time.

Our new gym teacher is called Mr Law he is teaching us rugby this month. He is great in rugby we do tag rugby and on Thursday he taught us how to play capture the flag witch was good fun to play it is a bit like a party game but there is a lot of running about involved.  You start of with 2 tags and this is how you get caught… If you are running and someone that is not in your group comes up to you and pulls of 1 of your tags of you are out of the game. 2 people in my group were quite good at their rugby skills because they play in a team with the Dumfries saints. They are Greg and Mark.

Everyone in the senior class has chosen to do a project to find out about food in a different country.

I am doing Germany to learn about German food and facts

 

 

For our personal projects we were each asked to choose a country.

My country Spain

Our new gym teacher is called Mr Law, he is teaching rugby. We have been learning to pass the ball backwards and how to tag. Mark is very good at rugby skills because he goes training and plays with a team in Dumfries.

I am enjoying PE.

Team Holywood would like to say a Big Thank you to the Dumfries Timber Centre. They have given us 5 wooden sleepers for the base of our green house.
