Stronord Outdoor Centre

On the 5th and 6th of March p5-7 went on a school trip to Stronord Outdoor Centre. It took us about 40-45 minuets to get there in the bus, we set off mountain walking at about 12:00pm and arrived back at 4:30pm but went to the park and then went back to the Centre at 5:00pm. YUMMY, for tea we had the choice of pizza or sausages and beans, I had sausages they were delicious! After tea we went back to the park for about an hour and a half then came back and watched a Cheaper by the Dozen and had a cup of hot chocolate, we watched the film for about half an hour and then got board and played bop it. We had to go to bed at 10:00pm but we were aloud to talk quietly. In the morning we got up at 8:00am and had breakfast nearly everyone had coco pops then went out to play in the garden. Soon after the instructors arrived and we were put in to two groups one of the groups was for people who were confident on bikes and the other not so confident. The first people to go mountain biking was the more confident group whilst the other group was doing orienteering and swapped over at about 12:30pm.We came back to the Centre at 3:00 and set off home, we got back to school at 4:30pm and everyone was shattered!

Stronord

P 5 – 7 went to Stronord Outdoor Activity Centre this March. This time Miss Baxter and Mrs Queen came along with us. At Stronord we done three activitys such as: Mounting cycling, orienteering and hill walking. When we arrived we went straight to our rooms to pick a bunk and then we had to go through to the dining room to listen to the instructions and to get what else we needed for all the activitys : like a ruck sack or water proofs. After all that we set off for the hill walking and when we got to sit and eat our lunch the view was amazing.  By the time we finished we were puffed out. We went back to have some food which was pizza or sausages and then went to the park for an 1 and a half hours. The next morning we got ready and had our cereal and packed up for the mounting cycling and the orienteering which was really fun but hard. We all got back and got our luggage then went on the bus and waved good bye.

Stronord

On Tuesday the 6th of March the big class went to Sronord. It is about fourty-fourty five minutes to get to the outdoor center. On Tuesday when we got there we all got a snack and then went a big walk/hill walk and we went to loch Troot and eat our lunch. Loch Troot is a beautiful place. The water is all still and there is alot of hills around. It is my dream loch. Then we continued walking and Alex(one of the instructors)Showed us a waterfall and he said he might go kanooing in it one day. On Wednesday the more confedint group for mountain biking went mountain biking and the less confident group went oreinteering. After we all went biking and oreinteering we all met up at the car park and eat lunch. After we eat lunch we swapped over groups. When we came home all our mums were proud of us and Miss Dale had a big cheesy smile on her face!!
