It is great to read about your holidays.

Big thank you to John, Jack and Blair who have  been writing their socks off to keep us up to date about their summer.

Keira and Abigail have also been filling us in on their exciting holiday happenings – thank you!!!

If we haven’t heard from you yet – get on and share!!

London

I went to London and the Natural history museum. The reason I wanted to go to the museum was because they had a dinosaur hall, however we didn’t have time to go because we had spent to much time at the science museum. We also went to the science museum, I liked this museum as well.

Solway Coast Rally

Me and dad went to the Solway Coast rally at the military range at Kirkcudbright.  There were lots of Subarus.  We stood at a jump where the cars were jumping high in front of us.  We saw a mitsibushi evo with a squashed boot, it looked like it had spun and hit a tree.  We were standing at the highest point and could see out into the sea and saw the windfarm.

Falkirk Wheel

The day after Edinburgh Zoo we visited the Falkirk Wheel.  it is 35metres high and is the place where the Forth and clyde Canal meets the Union canal.  10 hydraulic motors are needed to turn the wheel and 1.5kWh of electricity is used which is equivelant to boiling 8 kettles.  The picture at the end is the Scottish Kelpies
