Holywood Hullabaloo

The shed is a brand new shed. we use the shed for  quiet  so that we don’t get put off our work we can do our work in side the shed the shed is a great place for quiet nes. the shed is a purple shed and grey shed it is a really good shed infact it has load of space for us so that the teachers can do there reports. the shed is inside the school

It may sound weird but we do have a shed and it’s inside the school in room three. We use the shed for people to have a quiet space to work and teacher to do there reports. Pupils can use it for concentration when doing there work . It is getting painted purple , blue and yellow and the door is the same. Already it has a table and stools for sitting on. Chloe and myself went in for maths and it was amazing!!!

On Tuesday the 9th of February 2016. Me John and Cameron went to Maxwelton high school for the national Badminton event. I played 4 people I won two and lost two and I got to the semi finals. I was the only one to get to the semi Finals.

 

Holywood School Are Making A Football Club And Its A 5 A side Team With 2 subs The Captain Is Mark And The Best Football Player in the school is Braiden We Have the strips now we will be going against  Cargin Bridge we think if there up for it??

We have got a new teacher called Ms Tweedie! She comes every Monday and Tuesday, she does maths with p1-3 ,reading with p4-7, IDL with p4-7 and writing with p3-4. In writing we are going to make poems and in IDL we are doing microorganisms which are part of our body topic… 3 cheers for Ms Tweddie!!!!!

Today we done a experiment on the digestive system. We used 50 ml of clear water hand full of corn flakes and half a banana and a knee high tight  pink water and yellow water .Then we had to put it in a bowl and mix it up with forks. then put it all in a bag and mash it all up . then we had to put it in a tight and drain all the water out of it then cut the corner of the tight and squeeze it all out then it looked like poo!!!  by Chloe and Isla

On the 26th of January p4-7 made a model of the inner bodies Digestive System. We all used these stuff. The things we used are:
2 large bowls, half a banana, a handful of cornflakes, 50ml of clear water, 50ml of yellow water, 50ml of pink water, 1 freezer bag, 1 resalable bag, 1 knee high tight, 2 forks and 1 pair of scissors.

The experiment was gross but fun. Mrs Dale said that it would be messy and it looks awful. We used the cornflakes and the banana was the waste and the yellow liquid was the pee. We got the knee high tight and we drained the water and then we cut off the bottom of it and that was the poo.   Here is some of the photos.

   Today we were doing an experiment about the digestive system. Me John, Chloe, Isla and Braiden were in a group. These are some of our pictures. The experiment was so fun but so disgusting.

Today the class where doing the digestive system with cornflakes and a banana. In a group is Sarah-Jane , Ryan , Gavin and Kye.

We mashed the cornflakes and bananas with two forks like chewing in our  mouths before going into our digestive system

We have just started a new topic about the human bodies,  To day made  fake poop and we made the digestive system and we put banana and corn flakes in a big bowl and mash it with forks the we got a freezer bag and played about with it in till.it was all mushed up then then we cut a whole in the side of the bag and squeezed it in to a sealed bag then we put it in a tight and squeezed it in till all the water came out then you cut a whole  in the bottom corner then you squeeze it out in a bag then it looks like body waste.

Today we did science with Miss Dale… it was so gross!!! We had to use bananas food colouring and cornflakes and lots more weird stuff! we placed bananas and cornflakes in a bowl then we mashed em all up then we had to pour food colouring in with it smelt really weird we had to put it in a bag then put it in another bag and we had to mash it up again and then we put it in a sock and then we cut it open and squeezed! It looked just like poo or else a number 2 then the girls put it down the toilet and it looked like baby puke!!! This  is part of the human body topic we are doing.
