today on news round they were talking about orcas and they are the mammals of the sea. and they were saying how they link to humans . orcas only reproduce once in a lifetime once the mother has babies she becomes a grandma . there is a lot of competition in the family and the mother has to protect her baby and also get it fed

on newsround they were talking about how Donald trump has built a wall between Mexico and the USA.

 

Donald Trump is trying to build a wall between Mexico and USA. He and I quote said “and  Mexico will pay for it”. the president had a meeting with President Trump and after the Mexican president tweeted on Twitter that he will not be paying.

During the week there was a special type of fair on in London. It’s the annual toy fair and it has loads of creators of toys come right under one roof in order to make some money or show off there skills and talents. Most of the toys on show are not for sale yet because it will give the shopkeepers some time to think if they want them on the shelf’s. there was a lot of toys there and some are: Hatchimals, Beat box bracelets and loads of other toys

The p6s were doing curling at the Dumfries ice bowl their was 4 schools. their were six satiations my group got around all them it was fun. I seen the guy my dad beat last night

the p6 were dong curling at the ice bowl. we were dong races and lerning to sweep I in joyd it.the funst won was gliyden. it was very fun.

p6 at Holywood went curling  at the ice boll. It was fun the best thin was gliding on the ice it was the best. me Gavin Kye

what we where doing  in curling we started whit safety and we where learned  to slid and with the curling stones  and challenges it was so fun gliding was fun

Today the p6s went curling at Dumfries ice blow the times where 11.30 to 2pm it was really fun we done activities in the after noon like who can nock the most blue stones out the circle and we played jenga and knots and crosses.

This year I am the only girl in p6-7 in the school . So we have decided to make a cluster book group so we had to read a book and then we had to talk about .It so on Wednesday we went to pick up a p6 girl from all the cluster schools .And then we went to shawhead and then we had a discussion about the book and got to know each other a bit. And then we arranged  our next meeting with a different book the next book we are going to read is awful auntie . I thought that it was really fun to meet other girls in the cluster schools i really enjoyed it

On Sunday Dumfries rugby team are going to Stewartry to beat them because we bet them last time and we bet Moffatt and newnt Stewartry and tonight we are training. In p4-p5 I was facing my causing and it was his home pitch and we still bet him and his team. and we were facing Moffatt and we lost it was 1 to 0 we won all the other matches we had lots of fun.
