Holywood Hullabaloo

Gala day is coming up today is Tuesday and gala day is on Friday. my team have changed , we are now doing ice cream and Holywood keepsakes. If you don’t know about keepsakes , they are badges , magnets and  kiering’s  the kiering’s are 50p , the badge is 30p and the magnet is 50p as well but also we are selling  a colourful badge. these badges aren’t the badges on are jumpers and tops miss madden created a new badge !! everybody is working hard to finish their stalls !! I am very exited for gala day  because of last year it was so fun. Orla was in the same stall as me last year !

Gala Day is coming very quickly. It is on Friday the 8th of June and everyone is getting their stalls ready. We haven’t set them up yet but we are organising and making things for them. Georgia, Erin, Dakota and me are working on Pompoms! After making them we have to glue on googly eyes with a glue gun and I am NOT excited for that part because I got burnt putting googly eyes on rocks last year for the Tartan Garden Pets stall. They are going to be key rings so you can clip them on your bags and your clothes and things like handbags and for decoration 🙂 We made 51 yesterday and we got some help from Mrs Watson, Mrs Madden and Mrs Queen. Normally it would take us about 2 weeks to make 1 pompom because of the way that we were making them, but now we are making them really fast! We would like to say thank you to Paul, Hannah and Mr and Mrs Storie for handing in loads of wool to make pompoms with. We would also like to say thank you to everyone else who handed in wool for us. Thank you!

It has been absolutely roasting and we are like; where did all this heat come from?! Of course we are enjoying this weather and are always hoping for this weather because it is Scotland. Make sure you are putting on sunscreen so you stay safe in the sun and you don’t turn into a sausage. Also drink a lot of water, trust me- it helps. We are all dying because when it is only 22 degrees it feels like 823 to us! But that’s only because we are used to rain. Enjoy this lovely sunny weather while you can people! It’s only here for a while and when its gone you will moan at it for raining! That’s because when it is warm like this we want it to be cooler but when it is cold we moan at it because we want it to be warm. Get used to the weather being like this, it’s Scotland and it will always be like this so enjoy it while you can; it won’t be here for much longer and… Stop moaning about our weather, just appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weather is hot, nice and the sky has been so clear. people can go to beaches now. it sooooooo hot it is Spain heat here and I should know I have been there for my holiday for a week now I can get my tan back yeah (and not get sunburn an my shoulders!, the worst place for boys to get sunburn!) so what, I can stand the heat I have been in it before. By the way, get sunscreen on and a lot of it! like I said, its ROASTING out there!

the weather is so hot it is do hot if I had a fidget spiner it wood melt I got a sun birn holywood is like a heetwave it is so hot I pooted a orbey and it neltit over night

On the weekend the weather was so hot but I was not in Dumfries I was racing at knock hill and it was in its 30s. I thought it was great all the racers were sun burnt like me. lets just hope the weather keeps up Mr Walker says the weather is going to keep up for the next 100 days but I think its fake give it another week. At knock hill the track was 45 degrees and that’s good because the tyres stick to the track taking corners.

This week the weather in Scotland has bean good a few days have bean chilly it has not bean that hot I do not think it has rained in may so far and I heard it has to get better in the next few weeks. At home I have bean playing in the garden with my dogs we run around for about 45 minutes every night.

the last couple of days Scotland’s weather has be going up on Thursday it was so hot I didn’t want to go out in the sun. But Scotland wasn’t prepaid for this weather the normal temperature is around 12 and 15 but not in high 20s. in the school right now the teacher said no thick cloths on. I have on shorts and t shirt. its the best weather to have a nice cold ice cream . A ice tip don’t forget to put on sun cream and a hat and sun glasses.

All of this week has been sunny and it is the hot its day in Scotland. the weather has chance in Scotland it has chance from raining  to dry. We put up an BBQ it was that hot and we all sat in the shade it was really sunny . We all went to the river and we made a mini raft and we put in the river and we put a mini flag and miller put it on the mini raft we found the smallest stick we could find  it was really hard in the really hot sun .

To day it is supposed to be the hottest day of the year and we are going to be boiling! every one is really exited to go out side and enjoy the warm weather . we are also doing a vote to day on who will be voted to be head teacher for the day  and every one is exited
