Holywood Hullabaloo

this term we are doing world war 2 with miss dale and with Mr walker we are going to be learning all about plants.

we were doing world war planes like spit fires and Messerschmitt I am doing the spit fire I am just about done I am on to the painting mine most of the class are done and on to painting.

We have just finished doing planets with Mr walker the planets where super fun we got to paint planets and learn how the planets work.

before the school holyday  we had a play and it went well and me and my friend Greg where dressed like clowns I was wearing a green shirt that was to small for me and a yellow jumper thing and then blue trousers  and we got ready for the night then the night came we started and it was very fun we all done and it went really well people started to laugh at us because what we where wearing we where ment to be funny and we where a we bit then we done that until Wednesday it started to snow and a lot of people came outside to play in it then we all where throwing snow at each other     and it was very fun                                                                           by sonny

 

 

 

It was the day of the school show and we were all direst up ready to go on stage. Greg and Sony were the comedian’s of the show but Paul had the biggest part of the show and when it was finished it was snowing out side everybody ran out side

I will be talking about the science Mr Walker showed us how to make slime and we hade to make a little circle, square and a triangle we hade to get a beaker  and sand we had to fill the beaker up with sand put them on top of the shapes to see what one was stronger and it turned out to be the circle because if it has less sides it is stronger.

Mrs Jardine has suggested that it is time to update the look of our blog.

When we thought about it  – the last time we changed the look of the blog was in 2012. Some of our pupils weren’t even born then!!

Mrs Jardine is right – we are long overdue for a change!

We just read a  book could the Trenches. The book was fascinating my faivrot part was when he got home. Hayden faivrot  part was wen it was wen it was chimes because the wen they play foot ball. Even know they are ENAMIS

at holywood we are learning about ww2 and ww1 and we have red a book  called billy steavin and it is really good but sad and also we are talking about air rade shelters and some are under ground and some are Anderson shelters and Morrison shelters the Anderson shelter where used for when people had houses and Morrison shelters where used for when people had flats the p5to 7           this I sad because lots of people got shot or got mustered gas and things like that people got killed like that

 

 

Humans love books. There are lots of different kinds of books: colouring books, math books, long books, short books, thin books and fat books. But today I am going to be talking about my favourite books in the world of books so far.  Novels and Graphic Novels like  the Baby-sitters Club, Smile, Sisters and Ghosts .  Here are some pictures of them. If you decide to read Sisters  please note you need to read Smile first as it is the first book in the series . A lot of people at Holywood are reading these books – some boys and some girls…  It doesn’t really matter!

I hope you like these books if you ever try to read then enjoy.
