The Exxon Valdez Oil spill happened because of a lack of sleep… that’s right… sleep! Gregory (a member of the crew) was sleeping at the helm. He had a 22 hour shift loading the oil on to the ship and then was reported to only have had a catnap in the last 16 hours leading up to the crash. He fell asleep and did not steer the ship out of danger.

last Friday we had a gala day are group did plants and whack a piñata are plant went down a storm and I was running at people saying do you wont to buy a plant. Some people said yes some no. Everyone didn’t see us because we where at the front of the school and then everyone came at the back of the school we got so much money. we loved gala day.

Yesterday he did head teacher for a day before that bay 2 weeks we did a election the groups where Holy wood heroes, The twisty and The best in the world no joke this is what there called. Best in The world had 14 votes The twisty had 7 and Holy wood heroes got 24 votes. we did beck fast at holy wood a pillow fight a lunch buffet and the last thing water GAMES!!!!!! it was amazing day

Yesterday was Head Teacher Day, my party won. I was in the Holywood Heroes. We had a whole load of fun stuff.
The first thing we did was make your chocolate , banana or Lemon pancake ( I forgot it was head teacher day so I came in just with school clothes !!! ). After people had eaten their delicious pancake we all went to watch a bit of a movie.
After that we had went outside we had a pillow fight ( I didn’t do that because I wasn’t ready !!! ). Some of the people got to go watch the movie, while senior pupils kept on pillow fighting. Then it was time for a …
… BUFFET!
THEN AFTER THAT DELICIOUS BUFEY WE HAD … A WATER FIGHT !!! .

on gala day we made 750£ I was making slurp puppys I made 30£ my mum helpd wen I was away. ther was black current and orange.
Yesterday was the day when Dylan became head teacher for the day.
That day was amazing my favourite part of it was the afternoon because we done a massive water sport activates the first one we done was a challenge so what we had to do was we had to get a cup full of water and run to the top of the play ground and put the water in the bucket at the end but you didn’t have any water in your cup by then.
the second thing was water dodge ball with car sponges so what you had to do was try and get someone with a wet sponge.
the other thing was like try to hit the duck but with real people so you get a wet sponge so someone runs and the other person tryes to wack you with wet sponges.
and the very last one was you got a bucket and you need to try and get the sponges in to the bucket so the afternoon was amazing.

At school we do a head teacher day where one person in the school is the head teacher Dylan was the head teacher which was a bit scary despite it was Dylan I was fun we did pancakes for breakfast and we watch Paddington 2 it was a good movie we played cut the cake and a pillow fight and a buffet it good and we did a water fight but sadly I was not there
On Monday Dylan was headteacher for the day as he had been elected in a vote . His 3 promises were to have pancakes , a pillow fight and a water fight . in the morning we did pancakes ,watched a movie and played games . every body enjoyed having a pancake and a movie . after break every one got really excited about the pillow fight there was p1-3 on a bench and p4-7 on a bench . There was a lot of really funny fights especially the one with miss dale and Dylan . after about 45 minutes of fighting we stopped and went to watch the rest of the movie . while miss dawson was making a buffet lunch . we got a massive buffet lunch and dylans party got to sit in the staff room . after lunch we did a water afternoon with 4 different stations dodge ball , cup with water , get the sponge in the bucket and run like ducks . we spent all afternoon getting soaked and then at 1.45 we all came in and got changed .
The biggest thing on Newsround today was that Donald Trump, the American president and Kim Jong- Un, The president of North Korea met up and shook hands. This is really good news. It is such a big event because North Korea and America have been fighting for seemingly endless years and now they have met and agreed that there is going to be no more nuclear weapons in North or South Korea. The 2 presidents met outside a luxury hotel in Singapore.
Gala day was a success and we raised £750!!! I think that the ice-cream was the most popular stall because it was warm so I also think Kye’s slurp puppies sold very well, but then again the cake stall was nearly sold out and the garden stall was a big success to so I don’t know!!! Georgia, Dakota, Erin and me ran a pompom key-ring stall and we also sold tickets for our puppet show and did guess how many sweets in a jar. It was awesome. The stalls that were there were slurp puppies, ice-cream, archery, cakes, beat the goalie, cars, mystery bags/pin the tail on the unicorn, unicorn stall, Holywood keepsakes, colour a picture, raffle, plants, decorate a cupcake and our stall. There was also a treasure hunt and find the unicorn! We raised a lot of money!!!
