Holywood Hullabaloo

On environment day we had different stalls and they where all fun the funnest one was when there was different bottles and we made plant holders and made pen holders. in Mrs Jardens we done food miles some people made pizza and some were on the computers.in Miss Stapleton’s class we had thing from sandy hills and they where numbered and we had to sort them in to should be there and what should not be there. At Mrs Brocydonald’s we where sorting out are rubbish from the bins and had been there for a week. The final one was with Mrs Dales and we where sorting out plastic and other objects so we sorted them on how long it would take to dissolve .

On Friday we had Environment day. There was five stations for environment day. We had Miss McIntyre we were making things out of plastic. I made plastic braslites they were quite cool. I also made a pink fox tub. The pink fox tub was made of a plastic cup. Miss Stapelton got some plastic from the beach some of them smelt horrible like the fish eggs. At the end we did a true and false game it was fun. Miss Brokie-Donald was fun. There was a pile of rubbish and you had to sort the rubbish in piles. Miss Jardine was doing food miles we had to pick a pizza and find where the food came from. Miss Dale was doing a time line. We were seeing how long things would disagrate. We made posters of what we would look like at the time the thing that you choose would disagrate.

on Friday we had a environment day first we had to sort out trash like ripped  paper and paper towel’s. then we had to make bracelet’ s  out of plastic bags then we had to sort out how long rubbish would last. then we had to do pizza miles we had to fined out how many  miles pizza ingredients

On  Friday we had a thing called Environment day and we got to go to 5 different stations and now we know about plastic pollution. The first station we went to was with miss Dale which was making a timeline with vegetables, metal, wood and plastic .

At Environment day which was on Friday 29.3.19 it was a  Friday it was so fun because it was a mix up we did in the greenhouse, put gloves on and pile up a lot of plastic and there was sections which are paper, plastic, metal, food waste, single use plastics and we sorted it all out.

We did food miles as well with Mrs Jardane to see how far our food comes from .

We also did what’s plastic and supposed to on a beach or not and that’s what we did with miss Stapelton so we did that and we also had to see a little bit of blue planet lI live.

Last Friday we had environment day. And it wasn’t the best but it was ok. In Miss Stapleton’s class (was my favorite)  We were learning about the ocean. We have only discovered 4% of the ocean. Flip flops are the one of biggest problem for the ocean. 50,000 flip flops were discovered on a island were no one lives.

On Friday last week we did environment day we were learning how much paper towels we use how much plastic is in the ocean and we have only explored 4% of the ocean that is awesome I thought we explored more of the ocean and how much plastic we use every week it is unbelievable I never new we used that much plastic and paper towels there was over 100 paper towels I would say. we should fix it right now before it is to late!!!!

but environment day was really fun!!!

I like stuff

Last Friday we had Environment Day.  I thought it was pretty boring and bad. the best ones were miss Stapleton and miss Macintyre.

On last Friday at holywood primary we held an environment day and divided ourself into five groups and went through five activity’s all with a different teacher. On one there was a thing were we had to sort litter into piles of single use plastic, plastic, metal, food waste, paper, and bin.

Another one we were at we put a rope down and put all types of rubbish and ordering them in the order of when they will break down.

It is a great event.
