Holywood Hullabaloo

To day it is Burger Night so the p 5s maid Burgers. We maid 3 different Burgers. 1 is a vegan burger 2 is a turkey burger 3 is a beef burger. we  mushed green beans ,peas and sweet corn to Macke the vegan burgers.

Today we were making burgers for burger night there were three different types of burgers. The first type of burger was the turkey burger. The turkey burger smelt amazing. The second type of burger was the beef burger. The beef burger. The beef burger was the easiest burger to make because you basically just put the mince into the bowl and sprinkled ground white pepper and salt on it. The third and final one was the veg  burger  the veg burger was the hardest because they were really wet and hard to shape.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      by Josie

1.Today p5 boys and girls made burger for tonight for burger night . it took a long time . the first burger was turkey burger we put in mine and stuffing.

2. the second burger was a beef burger we had to make a round shape .

3. the three burger was veg burger it was the hard.

 

At school we made  burgers and we mad . And we made turkey .

At school we made burgers for to night because it is celebrating that its nearly the holiday’s. We made 3 different cines of burgers there was. Turkey burger, Beef burger and the vegie burger. Only two that I liked and it was the turkey burger and the beef burger. I ended up with lodes of not round burgers so we did not use them though.   

 

 

Today we were making burgers for Burger Night. Only the P5s were doing it because the 6/7 were on a trip and the others are busy. We made beef burgers, turkey burgers and vegetarian burger. It will be 5 to  7 I think as in time not by class because every class is doing it. The vegetarian burgers were the hardest ones to do because we used gluten free flour and it didn’t really work. I’m going to try out the turkey burgers but I’m also going to have the beef burger because beef burger are my favorite.  The easiest burger to make was the beef burger. I’m so excited for tonight.

er night.  I  eef bu.rger  night 

Today we were making burgers. We made different types of burgers like: veg burgers they were very soggy, beef burgers they look very pink and a turkey burger they smelt delicious. My favorite was the turkey burger because it smelt so good. The burgers had a weird techier. Making the burgers was really fun. I was working with one of my best friend. It was really hard to make the veg burgers. Miss Dale was showing the p.5s how to make the burgers.

We made burgers and  vegetarian burgers and turkey burgers we also and we also had burgers that had egg  in them and beef burgers we made them all I couldn’t make the egg one because I am lactose intolerant they look good you can come to are school tonight and have some I think you can come at 5 or 7 o clock I mite be coming to it is cold burger night on Friday it is are bike breakfast we go on a 3 mile .

Environment day was soooo fun but it also had loads of plastic pollution fun facts! The class I was in ( Merissa ) was group 5 and the class that my classmate was in ( Daisy )  was in was group 3.

( Merissa’s perspective ) My first class was with miss dale was called waste of time, In this class we learned how long it takes for plastic waste to break down !!! let me tell you how long a can takes to break down, it takes up to 80-200 years !

( Daisy’s perspective ) In my first class I went to go with miss McIntyre. We did rubbish re-use,  In there we learned that you can re-use single plastics and turn them into something useful for example a plastic bag turned into a bracelet and miss McIntyre’s class was interesting and fun !

( Merissa’s perspective )  My second class was pizza miles with miss Jardine I enjoyed it but there was only a couple of people doing the food miles, and all the measuring on the internet while other people were making pizza I think there weren’t enough jobs but it was FUN !

( Daisy’s perspective ) My second class was beach box  beach box it was like a questionnaire about, if the plastic shouldn’t be there or if the plastic does. We done this class with miss Stapleton. It was interesting and full of facts but it still had its own sense of fun !

( Merissa’s perspective ) This class was called rubbish sort ! we had to sort out all the rubbish like ( single use plastic , paper tissues , food , plastic , metal ) We done this with miss Brocki Donald. We think that her class was fun but near the end  it started getting boring

we have done all of the classes and I think environment day was very fun mums and dads were coming to help at the end of the day which was cool !!!
