My home made soup

This morning I have made my own home made soup with mum. I chose green beans because my uncle who is a lorry driver enjoys them, this is for him to take in his lorry whilst he’s working hard delivering food to all the supermarkets 😁.  I then spent some time with my dad on the mindcraft coding, I found this a little difficult but my dad showed me how to do it. I am now having some lunch then going to do my plan for insect hotel.  I am missing all my friends, hope everybody is staying safe.

Chanter practice….

Hello everyone…. for my genius hour, I chose to start my journey to playing the bagpipes.. I started with the tin whistle and I am now on the chanter… It is really hard work and needs a lot of practice… I am getting weekly video lessons from my tutor Arron who is part of Corberry Park Pipers.

Here is a wee video of what I have learnt so far…

HomeSchool

Being home schooled is so different than going to school with other class mates, getting used to this new style of learning has been such a challenge and yet at the same time it’s exhilarating. As fun as it is at home, I can’t help but miss real school! Personally I think that the hardest part of being home schooled is waking up. When at home I feel like we have a longer chance to research up more on the subject, recently I made a leaflet on Salvador Dali! I also got to try make a Rocket stove, sadly the wood did not burn as well but it was still fun! My mother printed out geography sheets, so I learn more about exotic country’s. My dad help teach me more about natural disasters and then man made one’s. Since I have all the time in the world, when doing spelling workout I am also translating my list into Japanese! It honestly takes for ever but in someway it is still really fun, oh and at the same time I have made up my own language with emoji’s and symbols. Well have a good day!

Thanks for reading daisy!

Rainbow Cookies & Nature

I started today learning about teeth in my science lesson. I struggled a bit with my maths but mummy worked through some examples with me to help. My nature trail was very fun and exciting to do. I found some flowers and two wishing dandelions. I went home and made a picture then I stuck some of the flowers in my exercise book. I made rainbow cookies as well. 🌈 They taste delicious. We gave some to our neighbour. I put a fairy door in my bedroom.

Bye, see you tomorrow for more of the fairy tale of Tanith 🌞
