Hello

On friday I made a zip wire with my mum. It was good fun. We used string and tied one end to the canes and the other end to a chair. We had to pull the chair backwards to make the string tight. I found out that if the string was loose the hanger would fall off the string and not work. I used my monster high doll and my cute little ladybird. The doll was heavier so it went slower than the ladybird. The ladybird was  lighter so it  went really fast down the zip wire.

Today I have done my maths work. 4 pages of my workbook I did today. Then I watched a video of parts of a  flower. I can draw my own flower like this. We found Rhododendrons in nanny’s garden. I have done my reading book called ‘yum, yum’.

Hi everybody. Today I did some of my maths. I did some of maths tasks. I halfed the numbers. I will do more later on because I have to go out with my mummy. Hope everybody had a good weekend. I watched the new movie Scoob about scooby doo and ate lots of popcorn🍿😋😊

last week we had a busy week i did maths and made my map of the garden.  we also looked at the parachute zip line challenge with my lego toy.  I helped dad to build plant pots that we are selling for £10 each. i also did some alliterations and similes too.  i did the robot instructions challenge which was funny.

I managed to get some photos of the sparrow that is nesting in my nest box on the side of my house.  I had to be very patient as the sparrows weren’t keen on me being there.  I took the photos through the glass on my patio doors so that is why they are a bit hazy.  Mrs. Madden.

Today I’ve basically watched things all day. The first thing active I did was going on a walk. We saw horses which was great. We only saw two horses. I have been on a zoom call with my family. We were doing a quiz. I am also going to do an easy workout. That wraps up today’s blog bye. By Orla.

Rhona, Mum and me built a zipwire and sent things like lego down it. It was great fun watching the regular lego explode on impact but the technic creation I built managed just fine. Rhona was using a basket with cable ties.

I’m missing my friends and family. I love talking to everyone face to face. I still like seeing them on FaceTime but sometimes it glitches which is annoying. I also want to give my family a huge hug. We have gave my granny an old iPhone so we could FaceTime her. Also we have gave her an iPad too. She’s learning how to work them. That’s all for today bye! By Orla. 

Hi all, Caspian is back!

The first thing I did today was I had to choose any fictional character of my choosing to have as my friend. I chose Kid Flash. I wrote about his characteristics and the comics and games he is from, and also why I wanted to be friends with him. This was an exercise in story building, presentation and vocabulary. Mum said my handwriting was really well presented.

My second lesson was geography. In it, I had questions about western Europe.  I used the atlas to help me locate various rivers, cities, mountain ranges and also which countries are bordered by other countries.

My third lesson was a study of the earth’s crust and core. I drew a picture in cross section showing the the layers of the earth and labelled them. Then I wrote a brief description of each layer.

Today in literacy I wrote about a fictional character I’d like to be friends with. I chose Holly the fairy. I wrote some sentences about her. Then I did some map reading on a map of Western Europe. I learnt how to read the key and find capital cuties and countries.

My tie dye bags look awesome, I am really happy.  I have some pictures to show you but the things still need ironing to be perfect. I want to have a shop selling my tie dye bags!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. I am going to bake Mrs Madden’s jammy biscuits and we are going to make some cakes for our neighbours.
