Hi everybody. Today I did some of the maths tasks on how to find the value of x. My mum told me if the sum was add you would have to take away the numbers yo had to find the value of x. It was quite tricky but I got the hang of it. I did handwriting to. I’ve been working on my superhero work but havent finished yet. My nana got me a tent. My mum and nana found it really hard to put up. I can’t wait to camp out in it😁😁😁

as part of the literary task this week l created a super hero 🦸🏻‍♀️.
My super hero is called Marine because her power is the power of water, she can send a tidal wave so big that it nocks the villain out. Then she can trap them in an air bubble that only she can pop. Because of this she can defeat the villain!!
Marine has baby blue hair and baby blue eyes. She has a dark blue top and matching trousers. Her special feature is the symbol on her top which is deep violet and wine red Colour, the symbol on has a lightning bolt behind it. Marine wears boots as they are comfortable! Today I have been doing maths, I’ve been learning to count money and tomorrow I’m going to be doing more counting with real money.

It is a very sunny day so i have also been helping to plant all the little marigolds I grew from seeds into the garden.

I am feeling quite pleased with myself because I was able to get a photo of the larvae of a Green Dock Beetle, so now I have photos of all it’s stages.   Mrs. Madden.

Hi Everyone

This week I have been carrying on Miss Dales theme of adventure and exploration with my mum – with ‘Japan week!’. For Japan week I am going too learn about Japanese culture, cook some Japanese food, learn some Japanese language, and some Japanese history (and of curse because it is me do some Japanese inspired art).

Today for Japanese week I have done some research on places I would like see in Japan. Then I marked them on a map it was really fun.

 

My favourite place I found was Yamanouchi National Park were you could watch the Japanese Macaque Monkeys – more commonly known as ‘Snow Monkeys’ bathing in hot springs. Heres a picture. – I think they are very cute or in Japanese – Kawaii!

Later I am going to do some Japanese cooking and after school time I am going to watch some Japanese movies like ‘My Neighbour Totoro’ and ‘Kubo and the Two strings’. – has anyone got a favourite Japanese movie I could watch?

Rory here.
I looked the words up in the dictionary and made some sentences. Here they are.

1.  Upon completion of my school work I will get to go and play.
2. While in the playground I saw a collision between Kohdie and Carson.
They both hurt their heads.
3. Home schooling has some limitations because we don’t have everything a school has.
4. Mummy ran frantically around the house trying to get us ready for school.
5. I asked my cat what’s the purpose of your whiskers?
6. I broke an ornament and it put me in a bad situation.
7. I humbly ask you to stop thumping your feet.

I also started working on my super hero.  I would like to share my description of his powers, his suit, his back story and his arch enemy.  I will make my comic strip soon.

My hero’s name is Vulcan. He is a human who gained the power of a volcano. These powers include creating fire, lava, heat vision, earth quakes, fire rain and flying.
Before getting his powers Vulcan was an explorer. He was searching for the worlds biggest volcano but fell into a cave. In the cave he found a floating ball of lava. He touched the lava ball and it knocked him out. When he woke up he was on fire and discovered his new abilities. He made this cave into his base and designed it to look cool.
Vulcan spent the next few years being a super hero until one day a new bad guy came from space to cause trouble. His name was Citron. Citron was made of liquid metal. Vulcan fought Citron and chased him from earth.
They came to a planet called Griffin and the people who lived there were griffins too. They helped Vulcan by giving him a magic sword. The sword could go on fire and would come back if Vulcan threw it like Thor’s hammer.
Vulcan defeated Citron using the sword and then buried him in lava.
Years later people mining on Griffin found Citron’s skeleton and it came back to life. He flew away from Griffin to look for Vulcan and to get his revenge.

I’ve also designed his outfit, but you will see that in the comic.

I’m off to work on Sumdog now.

Today ive been doing sum dog and bbc bite size.i made a bookmark so i wanna tell u how to make one.🤣

What you’ll need: get some card,glue,any thin fabric,a pen,stickers,and a hole puncher 🦄

1:carfully hole punch the card🥳

2:put youre fabric throw the hole😛

3:then glue the card down🤑

4:write anything u want on the card and leave to dry😎

5:add any sticker if you want. but u dont have to 💎
