Hello everyone, Caspian is back!

I haven’t blogged for a while because we have struggled to get online for a few days. So, what have I been doing? Well, we have foraged for more berries, made more jam and eaten loads more berry puddings! As well as my usual classes, I have a new subject called Business Studies. Mum has offered to give me an interest-free loan so I can start my own online business providing I do my research properly. I have highlighted ten areas of interest and I am mind-mapping them out. After this, Mum is going to show me how I drill down further. Mind mapping is really cool because you can list loads of ideas which connect to a main theme.

I saw Miss Dale a few nights ago and we talked for quite a bit. I heard about the bows and arrows which everyone is making. When it stops raining, we are coming up to school to borrow some willow so we can make some of our own.

I have planned in advance for World Book Day and I know what I want to dress up as… a Dalek! I hope the coronavirus has gone by then. I am worried about all the people getting poorly again and wish it hadn’t happened. I have been helping Tanith with her reading. I let her read my Doctor Who twisted fairytales! We are working on a book together about Leo the owl and Rose the cat. She is writing it, I am illustrating it for her.

I drew some Doctor Who pictures the other night. Tanith really liked them so she drew a Slitheen (the Slitheen home world is Raxacoricafallapatorious) and a Sontaran for me (the Sontarans live on Sontar and are factory-produced clones bred for war).

Ludo has finally been told by the vet that his broken pelvis is the best it can be so he is back to jumping and climbing. His eye is also a lot better. Nessaphina had her fur clipped and looks great, especially as she looks like she is wearing winter boots where her fur is a bit longer.

Hello, this is Tanith.

I have been doing a lot of maths this week from my school work sheets. Mummy thinks I am doing really well as I am getting more right.  I am doing a book and I am working with Caspian on it. I have been reading books to write my own book and it has magical animals in it. The cat is called Rose and she has a magic cat box which can travel in time like the police box in Doctor Who. You just have to crawl in like a cat and inside it is a spaceship. It has guest rooms and lots of things that cats like to use. You can go anywhere you want to go if you press the magic button.

I helped make some more bramble jelly and rosehip jelly and delivered some pots in the village to our friends but we didn’t go near anybody. We also made some blackberry and apple flapjack and we took some to our friend Ruth.  Mummy says I am the best berry picker because I nearly filled the bucket with all the berries I picked.

I have also been practicing my joined up writing. Mummy always helps me with my spellings.

It has been another fast week at school. Still missing you guys!

This week we were hunting in the woods…

One pupil ran away and hid while ringing a set of bells and when the bell stopped ringing the clans had to go and find them.  Listening carefully is a skill and is essential to being a successful hunter.

We also laid symbol trails for our clans to follow. Some clans laid brilliant trails.

Hello,

I have been very busy this week. I have read my book The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark and completed my chapter storyboard. I have also been watching Scooby Doo in French with English subtitles to help me recognise some words. Scooby is the same in French and English. I have written all my letters and we are posting them in the school letter box today.  am also bringing my storyboard to the school post box. I am going to do a describing diagram this afternoon and help mummy make onion marmalade too.

HI welcome people.

Today we were up the woods with P1/2 and  P5\7. Then we had to find our Group clan in the woods. And our clan was in a den in the woods. And the rest had to look for  there  clan.

And we had to follow our  clan symbols into the woods. Then we found our clan in the woods.

Hello everybody! We have been doing activates about Mesolithic Scotland. We got split up into groups called clans. First we had to we had to make a symbol to represent our clan. We all got a pendent each to draw our symbol. A few days in we made a mini settlement of a campsite. Then we made a mini den so that the teachers could see if it is good and then we built a den for our clan. We also had to make a clan call so that if you lost your clan you could get their attention.

hello we have anew topic its clans and ancient Scotland.THof doing clans and ancient Scotland was ok but we did get in to clans my was very a annoying? and we did headdress and wristband with nature mat. And build a mini den  it took to 2 hours to build its pain. Three days ago we build a  den that can  fit all of us we had the biggest den or tent?. and did clan calls.

At our school we have been learning about ancient Scotland and clans. We built dens only out of natural resources. We were in clans to build our dens. My clan built a TP.

Hi guys welcome to our blog today we are doing Mesolithic Scotland. That we are doing for a whole school topic . We got our owe  clans and  we did  trails, flags,  we did pedants with  our clan symbols on them .  We did foraging for berries. To make jam. We made trails and we spit the clan in half half  made a trails to there  hiding spot   and the other half used the trails to find them .

We  are  learning  about Mesolithic Scotland and we have clans and we have made shelters so our clans fit in it  also we have been leaving trails and heading i and tow other people heading in the bush and got stung. On Friday  we are making bow and arow.
