Hey everybody. Sorry haven’t been on here in a while. Yesterday I went to the school with my mum to pick up my school jumpers and I saw Mrs Dale, Mrs Brokie Donald and Ella and her mum. It was nice to see them! I can’t wait to go back to school after the holidays so I can see all my friends again! My front baby tooth fell out so I will put it under my pillow for the tooth fairy.ย

Happy holidays everybody! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ–๏ธ

My Trip To Japan๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello Team Holywood how is everyone? This week l chose ย to take a trip to Japan because l really like the cherry blossoms and the way that itโ€™s very different to our culture. ย My favourite thing about Japan isย the manga art!!!!! I also drew two pictures in manga style. We also looked at Japanese schools, some Japanese ย school pupils go to a different country to learn different languages for a week and a pupil from a different country go to Japan for a week. Did you know there are no cleaners in most Japanese schools because the pupils do the cleaning๐Ÿ˜ฎ.That way the children learn to respect the school environment and how to keep the school tidy and they appreciate how much work goes into keeping it clean! This includes sweeping leaves ๐Ÿ, mopping the floor and emptying bins ! ย In Japan people have a lot of respect for each other.

Please find my pictures below. Hi

Australia and the great barrier reef.

Hello Everybody,

This week I have been learning about one of my favourite places in the world, Australia! My favourite thing about Australia is the wildlife. Did you know that Australia has lots if unique types of animals. Including marsupials (marsupials are mammals that keep there babies in pouches) they are also the only country in the world to have mammals that lay eggs (like the duck billed platypus and the echidna). Did you know that Platypus are one of the few mammals ย that ย are ย venomous? Males produce a venom from a stir on their back legs.

his a picture of a koala I did.

I have also been learning about the great barrier reef! Did you know that its the biggest coral reef in the world, it is two times bigger than the next biggest coral reef! I did the full David Attenborough great barrier reef tour on line and found out a lot, it is really good. Here are some pictures of some of the creatures that live on the great barrier reef. I’d like to learn to scuba dive so I could explore the reef in person.

I have ordered some Australian biscuits when they arrive I will show you how to do a tim tam slam.

see you Joe

Wednesday

Today I tidied my room in the morning because I woke up early. Then I did the cleaning. I cleaned the surfaces in the living room. That didnโ€™t take long. Then I went to my dads. When I got there I changed my sheets. It was quite complicated. After I did that I did my English. I did some quick writing and a few other things. Next was maths. I was doing a Maths game called mental Maths and I played Sumdog. Now Iโ€™m watching a programme thatโ€™s on every night. Hope you enjoyed my blog bye. Take care. By Orla.
