Hi thank you for all the parents that helped are school be tiedy for once.

Now on to big thursday. First we had  art we did a dotting style of art and we finished are pop art words. Then we had drama. We learned a game called deadly handshake. It was where you shake hands and if someone tickles you you shake two others people hands then you died.But that is a warm up the real class is action a story called thuse and the minotaur a greece myths.Then it was outdoor learning we are learning tying and knots we are making catapults. Then last is p.e we are learning team games we had to push a tryer up the big hill and roll it down.

on big Thursday our class has art what we done was pop art . Then we had drama what we did is we did a news about  on our story we got to learn about it. after lunch we had outdoor learning and we did sling shots and ours did not go far bur it was really fun to learn how to tie and take part  . Then we had P.E what we did was we worked on our under arm throwing and our over arm throwing and we did it games then rounders we got split up into groups one was fielding and the other was batting our team was fielding firs and then we switched  to batting and then after that it was home                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      By gabriella

 

We started with art (pop art) then we had break after break we had drama with Freddie and Jackson we where talking about theseus and the minotaur and interviews after drama we had outdoor learning with Yasmin and Abigail after outdoor learning we had P.E we and we played rounders at the end!.

We do art first and we are doing pop art I liked when I had to draw a word and colour it. I did Boo!  This week we were making pop art portraits.

In drama we were learning about Theseus and the Minotaur – we had to news interviews and perform it.

On big Thursday mad   a cube  to shot at people Abigale and Erin and Jullien we all done team work me and Erin work together  and Abigail and Jullien work together and then it was drama me and Skye and Daniel were in a group and then we done PE. In PE we done capture the flag  and bat and ball then we done pop art it was so much fun.

On big Thursday we did PE art drama and out learning.

At PE at PE we practised rounders.

At art we did drawings of people with dots in stead of colour.

At drama we did acting as news reporters and it was about Theseus and the mineitor.

At outdoor learning we built catapults/slingshots with rope wooden poles and a cup.

On  Thursday  for  art we  did dotty   drawings   of   people   in   our   class   I  was    drawing    Kohdie.    Then   for   drama    we  re-enacted Thesis  and  the  Minotaur and at  in the ladnf.   Then   we  mad  catpolt  Then  we  play d  build up   it   and   posh   up  tars  and  dawn  the  big hil.

Big Thursday.

So first we did art we had to finish our dot people.

then we had drama  we did a news report. Ramani was the news reporter and I, was the  princess , Rhona was Thesis.

After lunch we have  out Dorr learning we made catapult’s  to practise  Knots.

Before  home time we do PE we did rounders  and practise batting .

Hello! How are you guys doing today? 

In Big Thursday we are doing our usual four subjects.

The subjects that we are doing are: POP ART, DRAMA, OUTDOOR LEARNING and P.E.

P6/7 start with pop art and we are focusing on a different kind of  art each week. Obviously, it is still pop art but so far we have done word art. Word art is a word in the middle of a page and then we decorated the outside of the word in patterns and colours. We have a rule that we only use three colours to colour in the whole picture. Then last week and the week before we were focusing on drawing a person in the style of Roy Lichtenstein. So his style is the face made of dots really close together and the hair was coloured in. When you drew the face you had to draw the face really big.

Then we go to drama were we are focusing on re-enacting stories and our story is about a man who saved his people from a horrid beast called a Minator. We also did a game called  television interview where we are interviewing Theseus who is the hero of Greece and Ariadne who is the betrayed princess of the isle of Crete. 

Next we go to outdoor learning were we are learning how to tie knots and make catapults. MY CATAPULT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, we go to p.e, where we are learning a variety of skills such as, throwing and catching, bating and running.

In class we have been learning about WW1 and the trenches. last week we lost 96 year old Queen Elisabeth  and yesterday her funeral was on live tv. on big Thursday we do P.E, art, drama and out door learning in P.E we play rounders and tag its really fun. in drama we listen to story’s and step out story’s tell story’s. in out door learning we learn survival skills I’m not really a fan of out door learning. in art we are drawing pop art that’s fun as well.
