step one : set up bedroom bed room put the floor on the ground.

step two: set up the poles.

step three; put the hooks  on the poles.

step  four: put the outside layer on hook the hooks on to the blue rings.

Hi everyone

I have chicken pox and it is not nice. I have lots and lots of spots but I do not have a hot fever now. I have been really bored staying in so I don’t give it to any one. My family took me for a long quiet walk in a bluebell wood because I wanted fresh air now I feel better. We saw mena and said hello but not closely. Mama took pictures for me so I could show you. I saw the first douglas fir to be grown in Britain. I saw lots of pictures in the bark and it felt so good. I found a fairy dell and lots of animal hotels in the trees. Ferns are amazing. I haven’t had a new spot today so I think I can come back on Monday. I am having lots of treats for being very poorly.

Hello Contijn here today i’m talking about my old school in the Netherlands and my current school (holywood primary). There are lots of different things in between the schools but if i’m going to tell you guys all of them this blog should be to long so here are 10 differences between the 2 schools.

1. Population of a school is one of the biggest things i had to get used to in my old school there we’re 350 kids that is next to Holywood so much.
2.  Outside was a lot different as well on holywood we have a lot more free time, On Friday we have big break and you can choose for how long you lunch an for how long you play. (we have 40 minutes lunchtime)
3. Classrooms/devices On my old school we worked the last years for 90% on laptops it was nice, but i don’t care what we’re doing writing and books or laptops ( we are doing a part on the computers on holywood as well)
4. Lunches, In the Netherlands you don’t have the choice to have school lunches everyone is taking there lunch and in lunchtime we have 30 minutes eating 30 minutes outside you don’t have the choice to eat for example 40 minutes and play 20 minutes outside.
5. Outside learning, In the Netherlands we never had real outside learning.
6. Art, Here in holywood we don’t have that much art lessons On my old school we had every week 3 times Some lessons.
7. Own work, On holywood you can work on your own and get a choice to do your own thing in The Netherlands it was you are doing this you are doing that and you have to work alone!!!!!!
8. Time, On my old school school started at 8:30.

Music, Here on Holywood we just started with Music and in the Netherlands we had in the first 5 tears music every week 2 times and after that you stop with music (strange)

10. Playground, On holywood we got hills and a big field, In the Netherlands we had stone with wood chips and a wooden shed.

A long blog today but it was fun

On big Thursday we played hockey  learning dribbling with one side of the hokey stick for PE.

For music we did percussion instruments.

For computer science we did hower of code.

And for outdoor we did an animal survey.

In big Thursday we are doing hokey for P.E and tomorrow the p6\7s are going to a match to play.

For computer science we are doing blokey.

In music we’er using glockenspiels .

in out door learning we are monetering the play ground for wild life.

Potato planting! Yesterday we done some potato planting . We got a tyre and filled it with soil and planted the potatoes in them and  got the watering cans and watered them after tie they will sprout and we will add an other tyre and more soil and we will do that with four tyres in till there fully grown .

On Tuesday we were getting organised getting ready for the first day of Secondary school Wallace hall.  at 8.15 the bus will arrive at that time we were going on the 246 bus to the high school I was a bit anxious of going on the bus but half way we were at Wallace hall waiting at the benches. When it was 9.15 we were put into groups of 4 and their was a lot of P7’s starting at Wallace hall this year.

We did PE first for the whole morning getting changed into our PE kits and getting back into our groups, I was group 1 there were not a lot of people in our group but it was fine. We did fitness by jogging in the hall and getting into groups and if it wasn’t the exact number for example 10 people in a group you would need to do a fitness like push ups then did a big game of capture the flag by capturing the other enemies side flag and bringing it back without getting caught and try not to get into jail, people can free you by coming to the jail and freeing you and that’s PE for break.

At break we were playing and chatting at the benches we were waiting for our group so when break was up we went into English class and did a timetable challenge where we need to go about the school trying to find the classes by the ground and the number in order it was tireing but we still did it after that tireing challenge we went to lunch and it was filled with the P7’s and secondary students their wasn’t any room so I ate my lunch quickly and went outside for 50 minutes and having fun playing it.

When lunch was over we went back to the benches and went in our groups and when on the ground floor and went to Modern Langues that include History, Geography, Religion Education and Politics that is a lot. we did politics and doing a activate of spiting £100 to 7 big things happening and needed split it quality but when you did that you needed to take £30 pounds off £100 pounds we spilt it quality of £10 pounds and that would be £70.

After that the last thing we did was Maths our Teacher was call Mr Bell and wanted us to do a Ninja maths test of answering 3 easy, medium and hard questions and when I did that we only had 8 minutes to do and got a green belt I got 13 as my score and when Maths was finished.

I went home on the bus and had a fabulous day and come back on May.

Yesterday me and most of the other P7s went for a transition day at Wallace hall high. I had to be at the bus stop by eight in the morning! When we got up to Wallace hall the school looked MASIVE! Our first class was PE it was very different to PE at Holywood we done capture the flag we done different type of fitness like push up’s ,press up’s and much more. After PE we done art we were drawing bugs in art and making loads of different patterns on them. in history we done history bingo it was ok but not the best. and then we done maths [it wasn’t as good as maths at holywood] anyways the time table challenge was quite fun we had to find classrooms that the teachers gave us.
