On Thursday we did P.E. In P.E, we did circuit’s and in the circuit’s we do push ups, shuttle runs. bench jumps, wall sits, burpees, sit ups, ball pass, planks my favorite exercise is planks. I really like P.E.

Hi Lewis here and today i talk to you about the school show . At school we are doing a show and it is about Aladdin trouble . Last week on Friday we did Auditions and i got Aladdin . the show date is on the 12/13/14th and rehearsal week is in two weeks one week after that we have the show . goodbye goodbye.

On Friday Oliver Mundell visited us and we asked him some questions like:
- How long is your average day?
- What is your favourite part of your job as an MSP?
- What do you do for fun?
After that he told us about what kind of things happen in the Parliament and he also gave us an activity page.

- Oliver has been an MSP for 7 years
- He would find it difficult to change his job if he had to
- Oliver said that the hardest part of his job is making the right decisions

Holywood’s Christmas School Show!!!!!
Hello there
Last week, on Friday, we had the school show auditions . Our Christmas school show is going to be ”Aladdin trouble”. I got the part of Jasmine and I am sharing the part of Jasmine with my best friend Nia. I will do the first show as Jasmine, Nia will do the second show as Jasmine and then we will be doing the last show together as Jasmine somehow. The show is going to be in two and a half weeks and then rehearsal week is in twelve days. I am extremely exited for rehearsal week and the school show. My other friends Nancy and Abigail will be the baddies. Abigail is going to be Abanazar and Nancy shall be Wantu, Abigail’s evil sidekick . The show will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on the 12th, 13th and the 14th of December.

what we did last week!!
On Friday last week we had auditions for Aladdin Trouble, the school show for this year. It is on December 12/13/14th. People auditioned for parts that they wanted and then at the end of the day they were all told what part they had got. I would like to help with the costumes, the scenery and the lights. we have only 12 days until rehearsal week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are having a school Christmas dinner on December 20th and after that we have a couple more days in school then we will go off for the Christmas holiday!

Our learning
Our learning. On Friday the 17th it was my birthday and i am now 11 but Mr Mundell came to Holywood primary to tell us all about the MSP and the Scottish Parliament. We asked Mr Mundell some questions and then he asked us some questions all about our school! But tomorrow we are going to north west to do cooking i think and tomorrow night i am going to Wallace hall to see what it is like because next year we will be going to high school and if you cant tell l am going to Wallace hall and also my brother goes there and just now he is an S3. In maths we are doing 3D shapes for the Holywood Christmas tree. But our school show this year is Aladdin trouble and we did auditions on Friday after break l was going to audition for king but we ran out of time but miss dale has gave some parts out but i think l am the king because l am the only one who auditioned for him but l hope the show goes well!!! l hope you enjoyed this blog. And will be back next week.

Oliver Mundell Meeting
Our class has been learning about Parliament and Mps. We have learned that people in power or the council decide rules and decides what needs to be changed or done. We then had a meeting with him on Friday and we asked him questions about potholes and what he does. He says he loves his job. and he told us that he likes meeting people. I have also done some research on potholes and how they come so gets old and then water gets inside the tarr and breaks it apart. I found out that potholes are a big problem in UK mostly Scotland because how bad the roads are here.
Visit from MSP
Oliver Mundell came in to Holywood school on Friday 17th November. We asked him some questions about his job. He has been an MSP for 7 years. He represents Dumfriesshire and he likes helping people. I enjoyed his visit and we got stickers and his autograph.

What we did this week in school!
On Tuesday we did Health class, with our health teacher, we did P.E activities and made games our self’s! me, Abigail, kye, it was a board running game, you have to run and we throw beanbags at you and if you get hit you go back the start
and start over again, if you don’t get hit you must get your partner into a wheelbarrow and run to the end without getting hit by beanbags, and reach kye at the end to win.

Friday! we did normal classes, did big read, we had big playground break!, at the end of the day, we got our parts for the Aladdin show!
