Hello my name is Nia and i am going to tell you about my Maths.  In my maths we have been split into groups . The groups are named after very smart and intelligent  people there is the Newtons, Johnstons ,Einsteins and the  Graingers  and that is because we will get to do different activates. One day a group will be on Sumdog   and the next day   they will be doing some maths games or a maths task and the last one is working with the teacher. In  the math games  my favourite game is make 11 you get 12  cards and try to make 11   with a partner and  who has the most pairs wins the game .

On Thursday we did P.E we did rugby. We played  a game with tags and a ball and we played other people from P6/7. My group played Mrs Mcnay’s group then she had the ball and ran with it to get a point  then i went to get her tag of her but i ran in front of her and she fell on the ground and she had a bruise from the whistle. It was really funny but she was ok rugby was really fun. And we did passing and we played it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Findlay

Art: In Art we have been doing African masks! We have learnt that African masks are not ever perfect and they are based on an animal or human(which is technically an animal), also we have learnt that  they are very colourful.

P.E.:  In P.E. we are doing rugby and are working towards playing a game of tag rugby.

Drama: For Drama we have been acting out a story called For The Birds and in that story there are lots of little birds and a big bird, the little birds make fun of the big bird and the big bird comes and sits with the little birds and they nudge big bird he fell forward and they started pecking at his feet, the big bird fell and the little birds went flying!

Outdoor learning: At the end of the day we do outdoor learning and in outdoor learning we were doing outdoor challenges.

We are learning about Democracy it is very fun and I enjoy it. I also liked doing the dioramas  and i also asked questions to the MSP’s if they want to get a staff room for our school.

We went to North west 2 weeks ago and the opinions to do where music and P.E we choose Music. We used the  ukulele and played viva la Vida by Coldplay. We also did guess the movie and TV theme song. We were going to take  a tour  around the school.

          Today

This term we have been learning about the Scottish parliament and the MSP. We found out that we have 8 MSP which can reparents us. We have just finished writing a letter to them and I wrote to Mochan and Nia wrote to Hoy.

Hello everyone

On Wednesday the 20th of September primary 6-7 went to NWCC. Some of us done rugby and the rest done music. I done music. We learnt a bit of viva la Vida by Coldplay on the ukulele. We then done a music and tv show quiz which was very fun as well. The teacher, Mrs Heart, said that next time we will be doing home economics.

Recently we have been doing Democracy (as our topic). We have done a lot of MSP things, like what we would ask them if we met them and we sent an email to different ones.  We also made dioramas of the debating chamber or the house of commons my group did the house of commons.

We are doing democracy and we have made dioramas .we made an identical  version of the Scottish parliament and one in Holyrood,  and then we had to write letters to MSPs me and Azari have  ours and they are now sent and are going on a long trip the MSPs. we don’t even know if they will answer or not haha,    Anyways that’s all from us bye.

Hi it is Lewis and Rory. At school we are learning about democracy.

So far we have learned about the parliaments history MSPS and the debating chamber and house of commons.

We have wrote emails to MSPS Lewis’s MSP was Emma Harper Rory’s  was Colin Smyth.

We made dioramas of the holy rood debating chamber and the house of commons we also made facts sheets about the MSPS where you just wrote facts about the MSPS  and drawn portraits of them.

We also did the history of the Scottish parliament from  1200-2014.
