Holywood Hullabaloo

Hi, Its airen here!, Today i am going to discuss about residential, I was always too scared to go to it, But Ms Dale said it was extremely fun but i was still hesitant about going to it, After a while i went on it, It was so fun, We had Breakfast , Lunch , And Dinner, I shared a cabin Ms dale , Carson , Jayda, Finlay , Lewis , Noah , Gabriela , Niamh, We did these activities: Stream walk (it was so fun) Then we did kanooing, Raft building,High ropes, Low ropes, Geo cache , Swimming , Diving , Zip Lining ,

rock UK is the best and it is very fun and we lived in a log cabin and i shared a room with Noah airen jayda findlay Lewis Niamh Gabriela we did stream walk it was fun/scary swimming was very fun dinner it was good then a zip line

Today we are going to be talking about residential.

Wednesday

on Wednesday we got the bus and after a while we got to rock UK once we got out the bus we got told to go into the sports haul. Then a lady came in and told  us about rock UK and she told us that the cabins will be ready at 1 o’clock so we went a walk  should l say a long walk and we came back got into our cabins and dropped our stuff in the and sat outside and had lunch once we did that we had the stream walk and it was good fun except from the tunnels. After we got to go in the pool and it was well fun the was a really sallow end and a shallow end and a deep end l was mostly in the deep end or in the middle. after the pool we had dinner and then zip line which was amazing good view.

Thursday

first thing in the morning we had breakfast and then we did  canoeing and raft building the lunch after lunch we did Geo cashing then high ropes after hing ropes we had dinner and the night walk the view was amazing.

Friday

on Friday we had breakfast and then we did scavenger hunt and low ropes and after we got lunch and then the bus came and that was it then we went back to school and waited for parents to collect us .

Hello this is Kohdie and today we are doing a blog about Residential first we got on the bus and then they introduced us to our cabin and then we got unpacked. I do not remember what we did in order but I can tell you all I can remember. So we did zip line first time it was scary second time I felt like I was in a video game we also did swimming . We also did a stream walk we had to go into tunnels one tunnel was so tight and had water flowing in my jacket filled up with water it was really scary but I had to keep going forward. We did high ropes as well there was a leap of faith and you had to  climb up and jump down there was also a challenge there that was a round metal stick you had to grab on to it and swing then jump down but when I was looking down I got scared but jumped down anyway that’s all bye

on residential we done lots of activates but the zipline was my favorite.

hi its Jullien and I’m going to tell about residential so at the begin we where on the bus and when we arrived at rock uk we needed to walk because they where still cleaning our room so we walked for about a hour so when we where allowed in our cabins we putted the bags where we needed to, I slept in bunkbed with Kye and after that we ate lunch after that we made a raft

then we got to the zwimmingpool for a 1 hour then we ate dinner and started doing ziplining  got back to our cabins and drank hot chocolate then we slept

when I woke up I brushed my teeth and and putted my clothing on right after we got ready for geocaching it was pretty boring then we ate lunch and went canoeing we played some games and went high ropes and then stream walk after that we ate dinner and did the night walk and drank hot chocolate

when we woke up we brushed our teeth and I started packing and we did a little scavenger hunt then we bought candy and did low ropes and went back on the bus.

Hi today i am going to talk about residential.

Wednesday

It took a while to get there but there was nice views when we got there it was super sunny so we went in to the sports hall.Then a staff member told us about  where the lodges and swimming pool and dinning area was.After the talk we went for a walk that i thought would never end and we did not get to the end.

When we got to the lodges and had lunch we where told we are in to groups i was group 2 and we had stream walk first. I thought it was the muddiest thing i have ever done.

Then Swimming

I was fun i jumped in the deep end and swam about.

Then we had dinner and went zip lining (so fun)

Thursday

straight after breakfast we went canoeing it was fun but hard because we always turned the wrong way.

It was fun but one of are knots wort strong a nufe  and was loose so it was side ways.

Lunch

Then Geo cashing

Its where there is a tracker and you have to find little puzzles.

High ropes

Amazing there was the leap of faith and i did not get the bar but i still tried.

we did a big loop and we met group 1 on the way round.

Friday

We had breakfast then we went on a scavenger hunt i had to fish a duck out and then i did low ropes it was like an adventure park .

So………. on the 24th of May we arrived at RockUK for residential.

We brought our stuff off the bus and put it in the sports hall. Afterwards we went on this really long walk that killed Noah. I think. Continuing on from that, we had lunch, found our cabins, and built rafts. I jumped in the lake and swallowed a tadpole. (Unintentionally) Next, we went swimming. It was fun, but all I could do was doggy paddle and Noah hogged most of the macaroni tubes. After swimming, we dried off and had dinner. Then came the zipline. I was horrified my first time but the second time was okay. I slept afterwards.

On day 2 we started off with geo-caching. I didn’t really like it, as it was basically 99% walking and 1% anything else. Next was the high ropes. I hated it. There was this thing called the Leap Of Faith which, thankfully, I didn’t do. We did open canoeing next. Jullien rocked the boat a lot, and I mean a lot. Also, when I was getting out of the canoe I fell in the lake and probably swallowed another tadpole. Afterwards, we did the stream walk, and had to crawl through tiny tunnels in which my shirt started swelling up with water. Later on, after dinner, we did the night walk, where Kohdie dropped his water bottle in the river and I just generally spoke to him.

And so ended residential 2023. It was ok I guess.

Erin and today Ill be telling you about The new P7 leavers hoodies.

On munday 🙁   We got our leavers hoodies  🙂 The parent council  gave us them (thank you ) at the end of the day. We all got one.
