Joseph Detory is an aquanaut, explorer and a medical researcher. He will live under water for 100 days in a cavern, 9 meters below the surface of Key Lago Lagoon in the U.S. If he succeeds a world record for the longest time spent under water will be set, the previous record was 73 days.

Our story is about an aquanaut who will be living underwater for 100 days.
His name is Joseph Dittari and he will be living underwater for 100 days as part of an experiment. He is an aquanaut and a medical researcher. He will live in an underwater motor home at an estimated 9m underwater. Whilst he is underwater, he will be closely monitored by medical professors to see if he is OK and to see how his body reacts to living underwater. If he succeeds at his mission, then he will set a new world record, because the longest a human has been underwater for is 78 days. He will carry out breathtaking medical research and he will be visited by 40 young divers. He hopes that he will inspire the next generation.
Our Views On This Story.
We think that it is an inspiring story. Payton says that she doesn’t know who doesn’t want to live underwater and become a fish. She also wants to become a fish. Lottie thinks it is a cool idea. I think that it is a good idea and that it could be successful in others doing it if this man can do it.

Hello, this is Caspian, Noah and Daniel. Today we are going to tell you about someone in America who is spending 100 days in an underwater house 9 metres below the surface. Joseph Dituri is an aquanaut, an underwater scientist. He sometimes teaches students who are the top of their classes about living underwater, as they might become aquanauts when they are older. The record he is trying to beat is 73 days, so over a month more. Caspian thinks it sounds like a good thing to do, as being secluded from people is something he likes. Noah thinks it is a good idea too. Daniel is heavily positive of it, and thinks breaking a world record will be hard to break.

Learning from newsround
Today we had to watch News round and do a blog on something that we seen so we picked a guy who is trying to live under water for 100 days. He is trying to teach teenagers under water skills to try to make people marine biologist. They had a under water house the guy spends most of his time swimming with fish. I dont like the idea because i am not kean on water. I like it because i love swimming.

Today I am going to talk about my learning in p5/4. In my class I have been learning about different country climate and natural disasters for are I.D.L topic. For are maths topic we have been learning about coordinates it is really fun .
On big Thursday I have been learning in outdoor learning how to saw with logs . At the moment we have been learning different climates. Here they are – Tropical, Dry, Cold, Polar and Temperate and are teacher gave each pear a climate and we had to wright a survival kit for are climate .And then we had to wright.

In the great blue sky a ufo aproched peacefully on planet earth the ufo landed in the Sahara dessert and an alien came out it was looking for water until it found a cacti the ailen walked to the cacti until the cacti moved a bit the ailen ran away imidently the alien got a gun and tip toed to the cacti suddenly he started poking it with his gun 3 times in a row then he said “get in here” then the alien thought it was sleep so he carried the cacti but it was dumb to do that becuase it hurt a lot and the alien was jumping in pain then he got his cannon and pressed the button multiple times
