Holywood Hullabaloo

Hi its Rory and I’m gonna be talking about big woodland break (but with ice)

On Friday it was really frosty and it was the perfect day to go up and play in the woods. So at 2 o clock we went to the woodlands to have break for an hour. When we got there it was really Icey and straight away everyone ran off to play. For half the time I kinda just slid around and fell over on the ice with Lewis but then I saw a competition going on a sliding competition! on ice.. of course. So I ran away from Lewis and started sliding down. I was pretty good at getting far… but I was also pretty good at falling over. One of the times I even fell over and done a backwards role! That day was really fun but you know what I’m very annoyed that it only gets frosty like once a year! but its good I had fun while it lasted in those couple days by going to a pond thing with Carson and playing on the ice. that bye!

Hi my name is Carson and I’m going to tell you about are schools big woodland break

First all the ponds where frozen and a lot of people where on it and it didn’t crack .

Second me Jullien and findly clamed a pond and we DESROYED!  it with are feet and a big branch and a stone also there was mud underneath . It was very deep and the ice was very thick ( Jullien gloves were very muddy )

Finally we had a slide competition and Reece won ( kye nearly won but he cant win water slide and ice competition.

Hi it’s Abigail,

I am going to tell you about big woodland break. Because it was really Icey there.  Me and my friend Niamh took my sledge their and we picked a hill and then we went down it one at a time. Which was really fun but then we found out that if we kept going and not using our feet we would hit the big tree. So we got a bit of wood and that was circular cut and put it where we could turn.  Because of the impact it turned the sledge but once it turned me so much I got flung of the sledge. We also used a twig to turn it but the twig just snapped. But I was all right and my friend didn’t get hurt either.

Hello there everyone

This morning at school it was snowing, not too heavily but not too lightly either. When we went in for our first lesson of the day it started snowing more and more heavily. After we had done our spelling workout we done another cursive handwriting challenge. This time it was a speed challenge to see how fast we could finish the sheet. After that we read chapter two in our new reading books. The options were The giraffe and the Pelly and me, The secret of the black moon moth, The iron man and The Hodgeheg. Me and my friend Nancy chose to read the Hodgeheg. Me and Nancy think that it is very funny. 

I will tell you more about it next week
