On Wednesday we were in the little class because p5 – p7 were at Stronord. We didn’t go to Stronord because p5 to p7 was only allowed but we had soo much fun in the little class and we got peace and quiet  .

Art

At art we were doing camouflage with our new teacher miss Findlay , miss Findlay will usually be with the big class . What we used for the camouflaging is we used chalk and three different colours of oil pastels, those colours are green light green and red .

 

Story Writing

In writing we were doing a story about a tornado it was fun. First we had to make a Story map and me and Thomas made a story map . The tornado started in the school of my story. The next day we wrote the story using our story map.

 

Big choose

 

At big choose we were playing with the dolls and we were drawing. Also we were allowed to go in the play dens . At big  choose I was drawing .

It’s been the best two days ever because P5, P6 and most of the P7s went on a residential trip to Stronord so we went to the wee classroom and this is what we did:  We met a new Teacher called Miss Findlay and we did camouflage pictures with her. Which was really fun and we also made a story map with miss Stapleton.  Yesterday we wrote about a tornado we also we had big choose . I chose the drawing box and drew some animals.

Today on newsround there was a TV show called the dumping ground and a new episode with a homeless man. He was joined by a charity called centre point and it’s to help at least 1.2 million homeless men, women and children. They have a website and a helpline. There was also a little part about brexit and children got their views heard. There was also a part about world book day with kids sending in their costume pictures.

I  had  a  blast  in  march  the  first  and  second

because  the  P5s,  P6s  and  most  of  the P7s  were  away  to

stronord  so  P4  got  peace

and  quiet’  it  was   amazing! Yes!

 

 

 

 

When the primary 5-7 (except Logan) went to stronrord the p4 and Logan went to the little class for peace and quiet :). We all met our new teacher Miss Findlay. The first thing we did was art. We also learned about camouflage and our task was to make some art work with a camouflaged animal inside of the picture. The next class we did was PE with lets get sporty. We did games and had a lot of fun. After lunch we learned about tornados and made a story map. The next day we began with writing our stories about the tornados then after that it was maths. We learned about the mean, median and mode.

today is pancake day we are making pancakes the whole school is enjoying it . we can get either nuttella, nuttella and banana, chocolate sauce or strawberry sauce .

 

you will need :

8 large tablespoons of flour

2 medium eggs

500ml of milk

a tea spoon of sugar to sweeten it

and some chocolate sauce or banana to finish

 

method:

1. put the eggs, flour and milk in to a mixing bowl
2. whisk till smooth and runny
3. pour into a frying pan and leave for 30 seconds then flip for another 30 secs
4. and add your topping

I made a rocket that’s is called lolly rocket . we handed it in on the 27th on February there was lots of other rockets there was lots of good rockets . I enjoyed making my rocket it was fun and I was very exited to bring in my rocket . I made my rocket with card and tinfoil ,  lids also a sticker . On Tuesday we looked at everyone’s rocket and they were amazing .
