Today was sports day at Holywood! There were lots of different races and activity’s to do and there were a lot of people (parents and family members).  The first race was the flat running race (sprint race) and Hayden came first for p6-p7 boys race which was the first race. The second was the egg and spoon and Kaylan came first for p5-p6 egg and spoon. Then there was the sack race which the 4 finalists were Sonny, Georgia, Jack and Merissa. Then there was the obstacle course run where we ran over the hills, through a tunnel, through the small willow tunnel and around the sandpit.

The Selby rail crash !!!

this crash was made in 2001 this man may of fell asleep.

he was up all night that’s why he fell asleep because he didn’t get enough shut eye. This crash caused 13 people to die  and another 70 people were injured . the reason how the other 70 people died is because the train came of the rail. The man survived by 60 seconds and got put in jail  for dangerous driving. there were only 15 survivors.

 

you should be sorting your bed times out so you don’t have a disastrous crash !!

The Selby railway crash took place killing 10 people and injuring over 80. Gary hart served over 30 month in jail for lack of sleep. He was traveling on the M62 and fell asleep being the wheel of his range rover and went down a banking and on the rail way line. To avoid that incident sleep at least 8 hours a day. If you sleep under that it reduces Growing and much more

The Exxon Valdez Oil spill happened because of a lack of sleep… that’s right… sleep! Gregory (a member of the crew) was sleeping at the helm. He had a 22 hour shift loading the oil on to the ship and then was reported to only have had a catnap in the last 16 hours leading up to the crash. He fell asleep and did not steer the ship out of danger.

last Friday we had a gala day are group did plants and whack a piñata are plant went down a storm and I was running at people saying do you wont to buy a plant. Some people said yes some no. Everyone didn’t see us because we where at the front of the school and then everyone came at the back of the school we got so much money. we loved  gala day.

Yesterday he did head teacher for a day before that bay 2 weeks we did a election the groups where Holy wood heroes, The twisty and The best in the world no joke this is what there called. Best in The world had 14 votes The twisty had 7 and  Holy wood heroes got 24 votes. we did beck fast at holy wood a pillow fight a lunch buffet and the last thing water GAMES!!!!!! it was amazing day

Yesterday was Head Teacher Day, my party won. I was in the Holywood Heroes. We had a whole load of fun stuff.

The first thing we did was make your chocolate , banana or Lemon pancake ( I forgot it was head teacher day so I came in just with school clothes !!! ). After people had eaten their delicious pancake we all went to watch a bit of a movie.

After that we had went outside we had a pillow fight ( I didn’t do that because I wasn’t ready !!! ). Some of the people got to go watch the movie, while senior pupils kept on pillow fighting. Then it was time for a …

… BUFFET!

THEN AFTER THAT DELICIOUS BUFEY WE HAD … A WATER FIGHT !!! .
