This afternoon me and my mum went to collect pebbles because we ran out. We are decorating them for our garden. Currently we are using oil pastels to decorate them but we have ordered posca pens so it will be easier to decorate them. This time the water was a bit higher than the last time so we didn’t really get big pebbles. We kind of got smallish medium size. That’s all for today bye. By Orla.
Sushi dinner
Hi everyone!
Yesterday I had home made sushi for dinner me, my mum and my dad made it together. My mum is vegetarian so we didn’t have fish in ours. It was lovely we made a special Japanese sweet omelette (Tamagoyaki) to go in it and fried tofu and fresh vegetable. We had to use special Japanese short grain rice that is really sticky but it tasted nice. We also had to wrap the rice in special Nori seaweed. really nice but it was really salty.
Hellooo Holywood
Sorry posted photos without saying anything. That was mums fault 🤪
Hi everyone
Yesterday I just wanted to play with my makeup and stuff and play in garden but mum said that was ok but today I have been really really busy.
I have done my maths then did spelling on Sumdog. Then we went onto Epic and I read some books. Next I had to draw a superhero. I wish I had superhero powers like Wonder Woman!
I read one of my books again and then i practised reading out words to mum.
We have now started an experiment to see how seeds can grow. I have made labels for each pot. I planted Radish seeds.
Now I am going on a bike ride with my nan and kolin. See u later.

Lots of growing
Experiment 1
I have just been planting experiment 1. My predictions are that
1) water and sun – grows well
2) water and no sun – soil will be wet. No sun means the plant won’t get food and won’t grow as good.
3) sun and no water – probably die – like the small plants in the school greenhouse
4) no sun and water – wont grow.
I will keep the plants that don’t need sun in the cupboard. I will keep the ones that need light in the porch.
Bean plant from Felix. The plant started small and kept crying up. I thought it was going to die. I sent it to my granny who lives across the road, she put it into a bigger pot and looked after it. She let it live in her green house with the other plants. I think the bean plan looks better after it’s holiday.
While the bean plant was having a holiday a mouse came long and took a big chunk out of it. The mouse also nibbled my parsley. Granny thought we had been in getting some for our soup .

Letter for Rhys
Some work and a tomato plant
Hi!
Cleo here.
I looked up tricky words in the dictionary. I knew a couple from learning about Marianne North. Here are my sentences.
The Waratah flower is native to Australia.
The owner of the mansion hired someone knowledgeable in horticulture to take care of their garden.
Photosynthesis means green plants make their food with sunlight.
In the rainforest most plant and animal life is not found on the forest floor, but in the leafy covering known as the canopy.
Pitcher plants can survive in a wide range of habitats, from sandy areas to the forest, because they get their nutrition from insects.
Marianne North would of worn bloomers for underwear.
Saucer plants are my favourite type of succulent plant.
Today we re-potted my tomato plant that I brought home from school. When I brought it home it was only a seed so I thought I would share a picture as it has grown so much and our topic this week involves plant growth. To get it to grow this big I have had to water it every day, allow it plenty of sunlight and keep it warm.
I’m now off to do my five a day and some sumdog. I hope you are all doing well and having fun. Bye for now!
